HOOKA HELP

hey my friend just got some shisha and we dont have a hooka pipe and ive never tried it or anything so i barely know anything about it. I have a glass bowl, can i smoke it out of that? Is there anyhting else i can smoke it out of other than a hooka and how would i do it? Any help would be appreciated.

No it will not be the same as smoking it off the hookah. You need a hookah, some charcoals specially made for smoking shisha, and some foil. What you do if you have a hookah is, you put tobaco in the ceramic bowl, you cover the bowl with a square piece of foil, just enough to cover the bowl and not too much, poke about ten to twelve holes with a toothpick, and you light the specially made charcoal. (that's if it's self-lighting, kind of like the charcoal disks for burning powdered incences) The charcoal disks are what you need anyways, because the tobaco is soaked in pieces of fruit, juices, or malassis. Where did your friend obtain the stuff from?, if you don't mind me asking.

well hes indian and he just came back from there and told me that over there its really easy to get (hes 16) so i dont know anything other then that.....oyea and its strawberry flavored

is there anything else we can smoke it out of because im DESPERATE :( to try it

or make a hooka.... but to every one on here... i need help cuz i want to make one. i got all of the suplies... ive got the tubing... i got the bowl... and i got the chamber..., and i was just wondering, should the bowl be in the water like a bong... or should it be out of the water... and should i put the hoseing above or below the bowl...

any help would be much apersheated....

like wut stoner spirit said it wont be the same, and id wait hookah smoking is the shit, but we only poke like 5-7 holes in the foil, it makes the shisha last longer, and u can use milk in the base, if ur gonna add some weed make sure u use skim milk, and last thing, MAKE SURE U DONT USE REGULAR CHARCOAL!! like the kind u use for grilling, it gives off some fumes u dont want, but ya a hookah isnt that tough to make, i dont have any links and i dont know the specifics to post em all but a summary is,
1. find a base, a good place to look for is lamps, find one w/ a good wide and kinda tall base, its up to u the base is just gonna hold ur filtering liquid, make sure its hollow or can be hollowed, id find a hollowed one just cuz its easier.
2. find ur stem, this can also be found in lamps, u want a nice thin hollow one thats maybe 18" high
3. then u want a tube for the smoke to go through, dont get copper and it should be maybe 1/2 an inch wide
4. find a bowl, and an ash tray that fits below the bowl to ask ur coal on
5. lastly u need the tubes, my friend got his from a local tobacco shop, he got the real thing so i dont know how u could improvise.
6. finally u just gotta connect everything, drill a hole from the bowl to connect it to the pipe, put the pipe in the stem so it reaches to the base, i think my friends got his pipe about 4 inches from the bottom of the base, for good filtration, then ur gonna drill a hole somewhere in the stem, make sure its pretty high so u dont inhale water, ok then u can seal everything so it doesnt leak, we used like a foam to connect the stem to the base, and the hookah tubes to the stem, b/c those parts shoudl be removable, for all the other parts like sealing the bowl to the stem u can just use silicone, or a diff type of plumbing sealant.
ok so that was a quick overview off the top of my head, dont hold me to any of that cuz its late and stuff but that should give u at least an idea of wut ur up against, and it is worth it hookah smoke is the best, good luck man
