Yeah another first time post. I'm gonna try and keep you guys posted all the way through, hopefully you all can help me bring in some half decent junk. Im gonna go for some sea of green goin if i can.

I dont really mind if they both come out to be males i just want to get a grow under my belt before my friend and i start hydro when he moves into his apartment. Besides im pretty sure i can still smoke male plants and still get high :D

No there is no THC in males just pollen that will seed every plant near your house and ruin every crop you come in contact with...so don't grow males!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Read alot before you grow...check out the stickies in the beginers thread.
And junk is a term used to describe Heroin so I don't think that would go over to well with most dedicated stoners....
I'm not trying to be mean,I just want you to know the inportance of sexing your plants and reading up on growing otherwise you might ruin your plants and possibly every crop in a 1 mile radius...so no males!!!!
Growing cannaibs is a little harder then most people know.
It's a strong plant but also sensitive in alot of ways.

No, not really. There is very little THC glands on male plants. The pods, they are full of pollen and contain no THC. You would have to smoke about 3, cigar sized gaggers, to catch a slight buzz, following a massive headache. Don't grow males out. When you first see one, chop it down, throw it in hash bin.

Anyways, I see a few mistake in your design. First of all, don't take pictures or let any light in when the light is off. Letting light in at anytime during the dark period will gurantee a male, or hermie plant. Second, get some reflective material on your walls. Dark blue walls will absorb all the light instead of repell it, wasting all that light. Get some flat white color on those walls, or some tinfoil. Use the DULL side of the foil. Good luck :cool:

thats thats the stuff i was lookin for, thanks much. this is when i just shut off the lights for the dark period, i thought it would be a decnet idea to just slowly work into complete darkness. this ome time :D

Epstine looks a little droopy and sad (almost depressed) during the dark period, is this normal? If its not how can i make it better? I'll have some pics tomorrow, lots of growth since last update, and finnally got locker covered in dull foil. Bad feeling she's gonna turn male because of all the stress i put on her :( we shall see. I killed Phoenix and used him as fertilizer, i just didn't have the room for her.

I'm not quite sure why you have your seedlings in the dark. Proffesionals mostly keep the lights on for 24/0 (24 hours a day). Cannabis does not require a dark period to rest. If you keep the lights on the 24/0 schedule you will have higher sucsess rates with females, faster growth and shorter internode lenghts. I'll tell you what I tell all other new growers. Go buy a cannabis growing book. They can be found at Barnes & Noble, Borders and Books A Million just to name a few. As for your room I don't know what to say because I don't know if your wanting to grow potent cannabis with high yields or just growing for the fuck of it. Your room needs major fucking work in order to produce high quality cannabis. No offense bro but I'm just being honest. I appreciate the honesty, and welcome the help! Think I should just junk this plant and start over? I haven't read anywhere about leaving 24/0, going to have to look into that. As for the potency and yield, of course i would like it to be potent and huge but i just dont think that i have the resources for it. I have a book I looked into (got off the net) its called "How to Grow Medicinal Marijuana" by Todd McComick. Need to read it better then just skimming it. I'm pretty much absolutly broke right now so I can only use what i find around the house, my mom does a little bit of gardening so i have soil and stuff. My locker is coated in foil now (dull side) so thats a small improvement. If anyone could give me tips on how I can utalize the space i have in that small locker id be very happy, dimesions r 32"x12"x12".

I know alot of the Vets here get sick of all the new people trying and screwing up, but please bear with us we appreciate all your wisdom and most of us will go on to help other new comers later on. :rolleyes:

Another small update:

Its about 5.5" now and alot more foliage. Its on a 24/0 cycle now.

Should I be bending it over now if I want a smaller plant to fit my situation? If so, whats the best way to do it without hurting the plant?

As soon as i get some money I'll be buying some lowrider seeds, I think they are the best for my low space/need some stealth situation :D. Incase I didn't mention before right now i'm just using some bag seed, so no idea on strain or even indcia/sativa.

Somewhat Large Update:

Added a new florecent blub to my locker hopefully it will speed growth. And I put some white rags ontop of the soil to try and get some light to the lower leaves.

I want to start flowering soon because space limitations prevent me from having it to big, i'm not sure if I can tho. Whats the soonest one could induce flowring? Is there a certain stage i have to wait for?

Some of my leave are pretty dry and wilting how can I stop this and make my plant healthy again, i already boosted the amount of water i give it.

Its about 7 inches tall now and 15 inches across. Still on a 24/0 cycle.

Well started flowering, I know many of you may disagree with how early I am doing this but in fear of the plant getting way to big I've gotta. I put it in complete darkness yesterday and have not turned the light on yet. I am going to turn the lights on tomorrow on the 12/12 cycle. Checked it just now in darkness and its starting to get that familiar smell, the leaves are dry but seem hearty if that makes sense. The *tips* of the higest leaves are dying, hope thats not to much of a problem, but lowered the plant anyway. I'll have some pics tomorrow when the lights come back on. Hopefully I can figure out how to put thumbnails in by tomorrow.

you can put a plant into 12/12 at ANY time.. i mean shit, you could grow it on 12/12 from day one if you wanted to. Granted, it wouldn't do as well, or grow as quickly.. but it can still be done.

If a small plant is what you want.. then a small plant is what you'll get
