Actually just to mess around. Thought it would be cool to try to grow the side branches into the same size and height as the main. But I am limited to the amount of space these things will take up. Max I have room for 4.

You can bend the plant at anytime you like.....the younger the easier it is on the plant.

Bending does not force the plant to do anything other than grow the main kola closer to the ground.

The objective to bending, assuming its not because of height issues, is to flood the secondary growth shoots with light...and....since those are where the bud stems come from, it reasons the extra light will foster larger bud shoots.

Bending is not really needed if lighting is adequate and getting to those secondaries to begin with.

Also, remember your initial secondaries will yeild tiny buds for the most part. It is the secondaries that are growing near the main top that you want to expose any extra light to.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I think I'll just let 'em go and maybe flower at about 24 days. Maybe 30. Not looking for 47 pounds (although who would turn that down?). Just doing some R&D. AND IT'S FUN!!!!

I added 2 more 43 watters so now total I have 178 watts that represent about 1200 watts and about 10,800 lumens...which is nothing really. But it sure is bright in there!! I'll get some warm whites to replace the daylight/super brights for flowering. Maybe leave a few of the daylights in there for something to do. I am keeping a journall too complete with daily pics.
