Bong Freezerburn

I fill my acrylic bong with crushed ice, then put it in the freezer for a few hours; this makes the smoke cool as fuck. I told a friend about this, and she said that the bong or ice will get freezer burn, and fuck up my lungs. Is she full of shit, or what??!!

Maybe if you're using liquid nitrogen or dry ice. Otherwise I seriously doubt it.
