SEATTLE HEMPFEST

YO! Everyone!
Just wanted to know if anyone was going to the Seattle Hempfest? It's a HUGE event-something like 200,000 people go there every year. One year Woody Harrelson was there....
It's the 20-21 of August and addmission is FREE.
I just saw a full 2-page layout in the HYDRO issue of HEADS Magazine. It looks awesome, so my friends and i decided to plan a trip to go! Is anyone else going? :D

Where can I find more info? I'm looking for a place to vacation this month and Seattle sounds great-haven't been there in years. Might have to do a side trip and go to the San Juan islands.

check out the sponsers and the lineup. Some decent pro-pot bands will be there, and a ton of important speakers. Plus it's FREE....
I've never been to Seattle either, but the Hempfest takes place on this huge strip next to the water..Myrtle Edwards Park....
Anyway, i found out about it because of HEADS Magazine, so i have to give them props. Hope you go!

im only 4 hours away, but meh im not going. Cuz i cant drive(no liscence) and anyone who can probably wont wanna go. Just last weekend(the one that just happened) there was one where i live(spokane,WA) but i was out of town on a boat, so i missed it.

I know i love the word "meh" lol been using for about 2 years here. :D lol. Yeah see the problem is any stoner friends i have cant drive, well i dont really have stoner friends, i have customers and i have my drinking buddies. The people that drink can drive but the customers dont talk to enough to ask them to drive. Yeah oh well another year or so and my gf can drive.(I cant drive till im 18)

Our outdoor banner (the image attached a few posts up) will be hung above the main stage - there may also be a similar outdoor banner hung elsewhere if they get the extras ... I've learned to send multiple of things to events to be sure they get there :rolleyes:

And I just finalized arrangements to physically attend Hempfest. I'll post more details as to the locations I'll be hanging out during the festival once I'm there and get a lay of the land - be cool to meet other folks here in person :D

I've been wanting to attend for the last few years, but never seem to be able to make it; been to Seattle before, but never during Hempfest ... seems like an awesome festival, and in light of recent events with the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling, Marc Emery's arrest, etc it's more important than ever for everyone, who have the funds/time to get there, to attend and show their support :)

Flying is always an adventure - but finally here...

Going to make my way over to the Hempfest venue to see what's happening in a few moments - and with any luck the Marihemp banner is up ... but really, at this point, the important thing is many folks are going to come together this weekend for a common cause, and of course fun - am glad to be an active participant this year :)

Weather is going to be nice the entire weekend. Many vendors, speakers, etc have already arrived with more coming in early Saturday - stages look great ... going to be a lot of entertainment and fun for folks attending ...

Admission is free - and open to all ages.

Sunday is reportedly the bigger day - there's still time for folks within driving distance to catch the fest.

Tens of thouands of people ... and yet the crowd is mellow - no arrests, etc ... everyone is having a good time, a really good time :)

Just arrived home a few hours ago ... took about two dozen pics - I didn't take more partly due to my digital camera's battery going dead (forgot to bring charger) and mainly due to being occupied wandering around meeting folks, talking with vendors, and chilling out; medicating LOL!

Hey everyone! Hi Ron!
The Hempfest was AWESOME!! I can't even begin to describe how it feels to be surrounded by thousands upon thousands of people who all love the same thing as you! I can't wait for next year! Those pics are great Ron. I'll try to post some of mine if I can. Seattle is a beautiful city...very open-minded people. It was a blast and I'm saving my money for next year! :)

Yeah, I was there and I got BLAZED in those teepees. Then, I'm starting bowl #4, when some dude peeks his head in, "Uh, could you guys get out of my teepee?" So, that was funny. It was a community event, so I ended up smoking out 4 random strangers.
