Ok, i am a kid, so i can not go to the smoke-shop and pick up a bong whenever i need to get one, I am forced to make everything that me and my friends smoke out of, or take one of my dads smoking utensils(which i dont like doing) I am really used to my Gravity Bong now. It is a 2 liter and a pitcher. I fill it with ice and cinnamin mouth wash befor i hit it :) I like it alot and it hits really nice. But i was wondering what is the cleanest and nicest hitting thing that you can make at home? Preferably with water involved because i like a filtered hit

when i was in high shcool my friends and i would make a little water pipe out of a soda bottle. it's pretty easy. you need a 20 oz soda bottle, a straw or 2, and someting hot(we always used a lit cig),some tin foil and duct tape and maybe a wire coat hanger. take the top off the soda bottle and burn a hole in the cap (this is whereyou might want a wire coat hanger, you heat the hanger over a lighter then use that to burn a hole through the cap) that a straw will fit through.then you need two holes in the side, one toward the top of the bottle that will fit a straw to take your hits through and one in the middle or so for a carb. fill the bottle with water level you want, put a straw through the cap so that when you put the cap on the top of the bottle upside down the straw will reach the water ,then duct tape the top to the bottle. take a straw cut in half and stick that in the hole you burn in the top part of the bottle. all you have left to do then is take a peice of tin foil and in the inverted cap and poke some holes in it. that's your bowl. be sure to tape it good so that you don't get a lot of air leaks. of course these types of water pipes don't last long the cap will start to melt and it will start to taste nasty. you'll know when you need to make a new one. that's the only type of water pipe i know how to make. there are plenty of options out there otherwise though. tin foil pipes, apple pipes, soda can pipes there is a web site that shows how to make these. it's www.smokingwithstyle.com under pipe etiquette. hope that helps. somewhere on that web site it shows how to roll a j and a blunt too. i think it's a pretty good website.

I made a gravity bong out of a HUGE pretzil container. It had to hold at least 500 pretzils. (big size) Well anyways, I used a 2lt soda bottle and my old metal pipe top. It was great, I got so stoned off that thing, then I lost the cap :(

Now i'm the proud owner of a bunch of apple pipes. (RIP)

Ok, I'm a veteran, & I'm VERY much an advocate of using glass, preferably a bong, WHENEVER smoking...But, recently when our "head piece" (a Spaceglass bong), broke I made a gravity bong, despite the fact that we also have a JB, hooka, a couple other bongs & many glass pieces (bubblers, bowls). My friend had made a few weeks b4 that I'd hit. They were my first gravity bong hits in prolly, 10 years! They blew me away! & I have a really high tollerence, it's hard for me to get stoned! So, even though we've gotten a new head piece, I still find myself using that fucking 2 liter in a bucket!! :) HA!! But, I will say that it's an especially nice home-made grav. b/c I used a glass hitter/bowl, rather than metal, or WORSE!! **Dun-dun-DAHAHHH!!**
I was thinking about your question & I'd honestly advise you to keep using a gravity bong...maybe improve the one you have...try using a glass hitter/bowl...I think maybe you could even get one of those 'roses' from 7-11, w/ the glass tube on the end....it's actually a crack pipe, but I bet you could use THAT as your hitter...maybe even make it into a pullout...(though u'd have to find away to keep it sealed btwn pull-outs... get a gromet....(hardware store). If the glass idea doesn't work, you could go to the hardware store, look for some bolts, nuts, shit like that...& make your bowl that way... You could, for instance, you could use the plastic screw-on top, put a whole in it, screw the 'bowl' into it...& there you go! :) ENJOY!!

Oh, this takes me back! Thanks!! But, really, the gravity bong, is "the fountain of youth"! Takes off ten years garanteed!!! No need for plastic surgery!

Here's my 2 1/2 footer I made out of a super srong cardboard tube. Takes an entire lungfill just to fill the chamber.

If you're looking for a smoking device you can make on the fly, nothing beats the apple pipe. You will need: 1 apple, 1 screen (a plain old faucet screen will work), 1 pen.

Take out the apple stem, and jam the pen down into the apple from where the stem used to be. Make sure the pen goes about halfway down the apple. Then take it out and make a similar hole from the side of the apple to the center. The two holes should meet in the center. Now suck or blow all the apple pulp stuck inside them, put the screen on the top hole, and your bud on top of that. The other hole is your mouthpiece. Enjoy.

YOU SHOULDNT USE MOUTHWASH!!! Mouth wash has alcohol in it.. Alcohol absourbs thc... your loosing some of your thc when you do tha buddy!! dont do it
