start with 33% nutes to acclimate plants then go to your nute schedule...I don't remember whether you are soil/hydro, but once they are rooted and have 4-5 nodes I would say..nute them, but, what nutes do you have...I use AN and they seem to be stronger than others...I went my whole grow last time with a 50% solution throughout hydro grow...
hope this helps.later

Red...
So much of when to fert depends on your grow medium.
I do kinow that with good medium, PRO MIX, I only gave them a teaspoon of 11-4-1 Bat Guano maybe for the first 30 days of veg.
Anytime after that when I nuted, the plant rejected it...I did manage to get some cactus ferts to stay down with a 1/5 dosage a couple of times.
This is not hydro...so there is no SET plan...so much depends on her medium and whats in it.
Just start super light once a week say on 4th week and watch her about 2 days later. Study the new growth.
I always said this is more art than science.....sometimes....

you say, only add guano alone no other ntues or additives other than superthrive(recall you stating you always use this start to finish...care to elaborate for us...O'Hard one :)

As is always suggested, every grow is a little different. My first ever I gave them Miracle Grow 15-30-15 on the 8th day of their lives because I didn't know any better. Then after 13 days of veg I sprinkled a bunch of nice stinky blood meal all over the top of the soil and mixed it in a little on the surface. Then watered it to give them a good shot of nitrogen. Had a little problem with some bottom leaves starting to yellow in the next few days so added some epsom salts to the water. Also foliar fed them with epsom, water and some dish soap. Stopped the yellowing and the leaves continued to live and they were on their way out to so it for sure did the job. Then flushed it because I started to read a lot about all this stuff and that's what it said to do because it probably had too much N. Plants grew like you couldn't believe with just a few fuorescents. Also foliar fed with some 12-6-8 MG and MG with their regular watering too which they really liked. Grew way faster than now when I'm doing everything "by the book" with even more light. Might throw the book away.

Latewood, sorry but i dont understand your question....
My entire grow consisted of:
PRO MIX POTTING SOIL
BAT GUANO 11-4-1
SuperThrive
Schultz Cactus Ferts 4 - 7 -7
pH DOWN
Thats all I ever added and the superthrive I have used all the time.
The bat Guano.....maybe twice during veg and once during flower.
Schultz Cactus ferts...maybe 4 times at most only in flower.
Anyhow I havent added anything in the last 3 - 4 weeks other than superthrive.
Hope that makes sense.
I just think with a soil grow unless you have analyzed the soil in a lab and determined its properties, how could you possibly know what to give it?
Start adding stuff that doesnt need to be added and you change the chemistry of the soil. Too often it takes our eyes days to notice it but the plants noticed it in minutes.
I say you start with the best medium you can find and lay off the nutes and let the plants do its thing :)
If the plant tells you it needs something and you are observant enuff, patient enuff and care enuff, you'll find out what it needs and add it then.
The MJ plant is quite a survivor once you get past the baby stages...but why add the nutes if they arent needed?
All this stuff about Bud Bloomers and Advanced Bud Busters and Big GIANT BIO Roots biz.......and all the other flowering concoctions that claim to give you huge buds are I am sure great.
I just didnt need them :D
You'll see why tommoro...... :)
This is strictly my opinion and how I treated my grow.
Trust me....the buzz and the harvest will speak for me when my mouth is too cotton dry to talk.
