personally i think its only a half truth. sure they will probably give up a good bit of heir weapons, but i cant imagine them giving up everything after over 40 years and countless murders.

the IRA were never a military unit they were and still are terrorists so how come we haven't bombed Ireland in the same way as we have Iraqi, and were supported for may years by the USA a bit like Iraqi really....lol

I do believe that the majority of the IRA will give up their campaign, but there will always be a few splinter groups who are still more than capable of more attacks.
