Yes, a male plant in veg can still smell of pot. I had a Black Haze going once, but sadly, it turned out to be a mle :(...reeked of fuckin skunk, just as a female would have.

No, males produce no buds. They produce pollen sacks that contain no THC. A full grown male plant does have THC in it, but maybe this-->(....)--< much and of low quality. peace.

Is it 2 weeks old from seed? Or 2 weeks into flowering?

If it is 2 weeks old from seed, you have a long ways to go friend.

If it is 2 weeks into flowering, the plant should be showing you within the next week or so.

Sheist: There are tons of plants in the world that stink of skunk, none of them produce THC. I have a catnip plant for my cat, it stinks skunky mint. It is a natural smell in plants, including MJ. THC or not.

Most THC action does occur in flowering, like weedracer said. There is very little, visable THC glands on a plant in veg. What you smell is mostly the natural smell from the leaves. The smell with slightly change during flowering. It will become much stronger. So if your plant stinks during veg, it will be much stankier during flowering.

Sheist the oder is just from the plant... all plants have oders. But its not from the THC. And yes my plants (3 weeks into veg) smell like a mofo! Man they smell. And they're going to get worse... damn. But thats cool....

Dame, this plant smells alot stronger then the stash I got it from. It was like shitless weed but wanted to do a first grow so decided to see how it would go. And this plant is just getting bigger and bigger, I feel like its my kid or something

You can flower whenever you want to. I've seen people go to 12/12 after a taproot has shown. He still got killer buds of of it.

You have to look at your height restrictions first off. A plant will double, some triple in size by the time they are done flowering. So if your plant is 10inches high when you switch to 12/12, the finishing height will approx. be 20-30inches high. Get it?

I have only 2.5ft of height space, so I switch to 12/12 when my plants are about 10-12inches(about a ft). They finish usually around 2-2.5ft. Understand now?

YOU choose when you want to flower, but remeber, the smaller the plant, the smaller the yeild, obviously. But the potency, in my opinion, and from my experiences, the potency will be just as good as a 2ft plant vs. a 6ft tall plant. Good luck.

Like [b]Cam[/b[ said, it is from the plant itself. The leaves, the stem, that is what the odor is. But when flowers(buds) start growing, the smell will obviously get stronger.
