help please is it dead?

I don't come here for some time because my plants didn't grow normally and so I was very pessimistic.

well the plant was very small but it was growing till 10 minutes ago. :(
I decided to put my plant in a big pot and I transplanted it.
but now I went to look at her - it was a female, the hairs were already showing - and the whole plant has withered, everything id down down.
did I touch the root?

in short, did my plant die or will it be up again in a couple of days.

transplanting anything will shock the plant. especially if you've already started 12/12. transplants though, are for the greater good. the bigger the pot, the more pot you'll grow. it will set the flowering back by about a week.. but she should be fine.

I feel devastated.
I asked my grandmother to go and talk with the plant because she was trying to comfort me saying that she will get up again.
and I told her:

- but I touched the root

- you did? - she asked

- well I think so, some of those little roots stayed in the old pot and others broke.

- the root must have dirt around, did you took away the dirt around the roots?

- well granny, yes. I was so stupid I slapped the root very gently to remove some of the old dirt.

- YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT!

- well, you think it's dead? it's wilted, completely down down.

- but it will survive.

- how do you know? these plants are not like yours.

- but she will get better.

- will you go and talk to her?

- alright I go.

my granny knows nothing about cannabis but she insists that the plant will get up again.

BobBong, I hadn't stared 12/12 because my plant has been growing really starnge. there should be 7 nodes but only 3 of them were good, the rest had gone because of excess of water but the plant continued to grow and now it was raising a bud on top.

I feel devastated because the other plant I have it's even worse. I stopped showing photos of my plants because they are... ridiculous, so to speak.

hmmmm, I am pessismist but granny says it will get up and I want to believe my 79 year old companion.

thank you sheist, I would gladly get more seeds but I have none and I don't know anyone who has them.

Well man, Granny is right. your plant will probably survive... assuming you haven't damaged the actual plant in anyway. The plant wants to live alot more than you want it to live..it's will to survive is now 10x as strong as it becomes accustomed to it's new soil surroundings. it may look like it's going to die.. but keep it under the same lights.. give it a few days.. make sure she's watered.. but not too watered... you should know by now how often to water her...don't change anything.. just watch.. she'll be fine..

I touched the root, slightly, but a lot of dirt still went with the plant to the new pot.
granny insists that the plant will survive but hahahahahaha poor lady, she knows nothing about it.

I live in Portugal, I am growing these 2 plants with the light of the sun, wind and that's it. I water it 1 every week and it was growing fine till this morning when I transplanted it. after 5 minutes it got like this.

here is the stem close to the soil,

When transplanting always keep some rooting powder around and ready just in case the root gets exposed in the future.

the reason I am so pissed is that I can't get any seeds around here
I was putting my faith is these 2 plants, well it was 3 but then only 2 survived and now I'm left with one but I don't have any faith in it.

I already realized that the plant is dead, I will leave it there just because my granny insists but I have no hope, honestly.

it didn't have a strong life but it was budding now and because it was the first time I really didn't care much, I was experimenting. please read my post above and email me if you can help me.

Look it won't hurt you to let it grow...weed is a different animal altogether...I had a clone that drooped and died ,I tore the top off, but left the stem...it looked more than dead...stem looked drowned,,,yesterday when i was transplanting clones I noticed it had 3 roots growing..who would've thought...anyway, it looks to me that you need to add some perlite to that mix of soil...is that just dirt from around the house?...later...
and personally i wouldn't water the shit out of it,imho...

hey man that's just bad luck. but don't get too down about it. just buy a bag of weed and get some seeds. if there are none, ask a friend for one or two. all you got to do is start growing another one so that your granny doesn't feel upset for you. it's not the end of the world because your first plant died. a lot of people's first grows go bad. so don't let it get you down. just try again and again and again until you get it right. read through a lot of these posts. almost everything is addressed once or twice. good luck next time.

im sorry major but im also on my first grow and only have 2 seeds left myself. im also having problems but not the same as yours. to many males is mine, and being unable to clone. u can order by cash on some sites u know, or postal orders or sumin like that.

I feel better now, all it took was a walk around the quarter and I'm much better.
I was growing those plants (I still have one left) for the pleasure of seeing it grow. then I read somewhere I should put my plants in a bigger pot and that's when the damage happened; I did it wrong, I know I did - wish I hadn't touch it but now it's done.
I don't know anyone who can get me some seeds, the person who gave me these ones went to Spain and there is no weed where I live, only hash.
but it's fine, :) I'm trying to quit smoking weed so it's okay. let it be what God wants it to be, I must have the serenity to accept it and if I don't it's because I'm stupid, which was what happened this morning, I shouldn't let myself be sad because of this; there is always something good about everything, even this. I screamed and shouted and now I realise I was stupid. this is a lesson for me, another one. I am very impatient and moddy so I take it as a lesson. it must be the message, I'm sure it is. everything that happens in my life is for some reason; in our lives I mean.
it was a pity because I really put my dedication in those plants but then they were growing kind of strange and I knew they would never look pretty like I see in so many photos of plants here. these plants are really beautiful, they have some hypnotizing thing about how they look that makes people hate them or love them instantly (guess the hate is more about prejudice and the fact it's illegal).
I don't know anyone who has weed around here but then I live as an hermit so what would I expect? :cool:

I'm happy that my family is enlightened about this, well, how couldn't they be?
I had been on heroin for 13 years so even my grandmother knows what's wrong and what's not so wrong.

I appreciate your feedback, you were super nice.
since I am using the light of the sun now I have to wait for next year. but by then I hope I know more about cannabis and maybe this won't happen again.
