Just wanted to know what people thought about this. i mean he was arrested in Canada on behalf of the U.S.'s DEA. America is trying to have them extradite him to the US to punish him for selling seeds online. Im from houston, TX so its kind of embarrasing for me to be from America now that this is happening. if Canada wants to punish him then let them but we dont need to make an international case out of selling something that comes from the earth. I think if Canada sends him south then it will be a sad day for canada and the world. He was just released out on bail but awaits the answer if he'll be extradited. So what ya'll think about this bullshit. Also check out ezjim's "5 things you can do to help marc emery" thread.

I don't understand how the DEA can legally enter another country and arrest someone.

I don't think this will fly. The DEA is just making idiots of themselves. They are fucking retarded, thinking they are the world's boss.

Exactly. Sometimes it's just too much, and I can't wait until I can leave this country.

well Canada still has the option to refuse extradition and hopefully they will. that would really embarass not only the DEA but Amerika and hopefully our gov. would stop all this fucking gay shit.

Also posted this at the Hight Times site.
Factoid: In the latest High Times there are at least 12 seed suppliers with ad space, located in Canada (10), Spain (1), Amsterdam (1), Unknown (1). Almost all state by HT that the acquisition of live seeds is illegal, payable in us $ from anywhere in the world.
No ads for Marc Emery, not suprising since there is some bad blood between Emery and HT. Did see an ad in the latest Best of HT for Valium and Vicodin, full page color.

Loooked in Heads and Skunk magazine from Canada but no Emery ads either but do ship worldwide.
So only in Cannabis Culture mag does Emery advertise (which he owns), a Canadian mag I might add.
But even with these facts the DEA choose Emery over everyone else in all other Pot mags.

And I will leave you with this quote from Karen Tandy DEA Administrator.
"Hundreds of thousands of dollars of Emery's illicit profits are known to have been channeled to marijuana legalization groups active in the United States and Canada. Drug legalization lobbyists now have one less pot of money to rely on."
'nuff said

Do you think thats why Worldwideseeds went on extended hoiday waiting for the outcome of the Emery extradition. This probly noids all the seed companys that ship to the U.S.A.The DEA probly thinks that even if they don't get Canada to release Emery they have at least slowed the flow of seeds to the U.S.A.I think Canada should protest by throwing handfuls of seeds across the border into U.S.A.Make one large Cannibis hedge!!!!
