Sacrafice seems to be the key to life. Think about it for a second. You're in town, and you get the thought to go to Burger King, of course it's not good for you, but it tastes good. Are you willing to sacrafise your hunger for something healthier instead?

you're driving down the road and you finish a honey bun, and you don't know what to do with the wrapper. Instead of putting it in your car until you can find a trashcan, you carelessly throw it out the window.

The examples could go forever...I think it's the people that are unwilling to make sacrafices that screw up the world we have.

One time I didn't make the sacrafice and use a condom. Now I'm a daddy. :(

you succomed to your outer sense of lust or sexuality or what have you. Buddha taught to resist those outer sense temptations and it will make you a better person. Resisting those outer sense temptations is the same thing as making sacrafises. Your case is another example, i'm sorry to hear though.

Course they realise, it just becomes alot easier to ignore or avoid those things, the first sacrifice being accepting your role as SERVANT, there is truely no higher calling in life.

Ha, welll i'm glad to hear your not a daddy. That's just another example or someone not willing to sacrafise their emotions at the time.
