i remember reading somewhere that indians were one of the first peoples known to be using cannabis, i read that in one of there holy scriptures or something it says that the god shiva told someone to get this "magical green plant" for him and the pictures clearly showed that it was cannabis, i don't know for sure if this is true or not i read it somewhere but forget where maybe wikipedia haha and that ganja/ganjika is the indian word for cannabis
