I was the first of all my friends (in da 4th grade) to have one of them pikachu gigapet things. I used to play with it all the fuckin time, i stoped doing my homework just to play.

that's what I was gonna say, except I didn't have the cards and only had the red/blue games. I caught 'em all including the fabled mew (a friend used a gameshark to get it for me). Pokemon was fun at 13 it's like the transformer of my generation. (Beast Wars transformers were cool back then too)
