Just got a piece

I just got a glass piece, finally, and It's kinda dirty, i know you can clean it by boiling in water but then my house would reek of smoke. How do u guys with glass pieces clean ur shit. And where do u hide them cuz i hide my weed in the manual of video games but a pipe dont fit in game cases.

Soak it in rubbing alcohol after while all the resin and shit will start comming out of the pipe. Hide it in a shirt or coat pocket or something, I just leave my shit laying out lol.

Eewww.....use 99% rubbing alcohol man, with a little salt, then rinse out really really really well, with hot water. That will get it brand new clean. Do it when mom isn't home ;)

well i like to smoke the resin so i use paper clips and pick it out slowly through the carb hole.....and i keep mine in a hard glasses case

Put it in a ziplock baggie, boil the baggie, the resin will looking up then clean it out...

Oh ya, me too. I use a screen so I get nothing but smooth, gooey oil, no chunks with a screen. I was just suggesting clean because he said he just got one...and it's dirty. I'd clean a used pipe if I were you. Start fresh with your shit, it goop up in no time.

Using alcohol, Isopropanal alcohol, 99% stuff, you just soak the pipe in that stuff for a few hours and what you're left with, first off it will stink like alcohol, very strong smell, and it will be brown. The brown stuff is all of the resin, you want that. So you have to boil away the Iso, then what will remain, once all the Iso is burned away, is oil pretty much. A dark, smooth oil. But again, it will stink even more and can be very hard to breath at times, when burning away the Iso. I use a small mask I stole from work... :D

Eh I'll just use cleaner I buy from trails, only takes a few hours and doesn't leave any strong smell, very good stuff, I used it when I had my Protopype, oh yeah JFYI for everybody, Protopypes are decent but they clog easily, the shaft is too narrow....and does anybody know how to put a pic in my signature?

Ya, It's been awhile since I made some oil from my pipes. I just use a screen now and that helps big time. I just Iso when I make oil from trimmings and such. Not worth the time or energy to do it with a pipe.

I did the salt and rubbing alcohol thing and now my glass piece looks brand new!! And I keep my piece in a case that is for the faceplate of a car stereo. I only keep it in there because it has foam padding inside and won't brake the piece if I drop it (which I have done a couple of times)

I used to hide Jay's in my DVD cases; the trick is to use only the ones that I watch! It's really a good idea, compared to the majority of other places to stash.

i never understood you kids who hide your weed so well. y not just throw it in your draw of your dresser. your parents souldn't be in your room and if they are they sure as fuck souldn't be going throw your stuff. maube the weed just made you all paranoid.

I don't hide mine, I just keep my piece in a case so that I don't break it. And I keep the weed and the case on my desk right next to my computer. But then again I live in an apartment/dorm so I don't really need to hide it.
