Um...I was wondering if the temperature is to hott or to cold...Um, when my plant is in the light,12 p.m. - 12 a.m.(through the whole day until midnight) the temperature in my room(w/fan on the plant)77 degrees... but then when i turn the light OFF and i plug in the a.c.(the plant is in my bedroom off to the side in its own little enviroment) the temp (through out the night until about 10 or 11 a.m.) is roughly around 60 degrees....**THAT AINT TO STRESSFUL ON THE PLANT IS IT???(im scared that it will turn into male)** .....if it is *SHOULD I PUT THE PLANT IN A WARMER ROOM THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT?
thank you(s), i really appreciate it.

77deg F=25degC. I'm Canadian so... :D
No, that isn't too hot, could be a tad cooler though.
60degF=15.5degC. Now that, is a tad cool. You know what you should do to control those temps...instead of having the light on all day long, when the sun is out, have it run all night instead, when the sun is gone and it is cooler outside. You get what I'm saying? Having the heat from your light, plus the sun, will be harder to control temp. But if you had the light on all night, where the sun is gone, the temps will be easier to control. Hope this helps, peace.

Those temps will not result in sex transformation as a stress reaction.
I vegged quite nicely with temps as low as 55 F the first 4 weeks. They didn't mind it one single bit.
The 77 F is quite nice for them too.
Again, neither the high or low you mentioned will result in stress sexing.

I know one of my grows, I kept the temps at about 18deg.C and the purple came flowing in! Isn't that a sign of stress?

More a chance of it being a sign of a nutrient deficiency.

That temperature swing is fine, it may slow growth at 60f but that's not a big deal at all. It's better to be cool then HOT anyday of the week.

Yes purple stems and even a few of the leaves turned purple. I remeber that part. I heard if you keep temps below 70degF, you'll end up with some purple product.

Cool. I will try that this winter.
Purple weed looks cool :)
Purple stems don't really indicate any deficiencies or damage...Red can be a different story.
At least that I am aware of.

I have a few purple strains I "could"A grow, but I find it more fun to experiment with the plant.
