I found a free program that I used to 'clean' the inside of the screen and the improvement was quite noticeable.

The program is free, works automatically, and takes only about 45 seconds to do its job.

It's taking it's sweet time to load the page up, and nothing else is going slow (even loading other pages is really fast lol... hmm)

Well i'm off to do my paper round now, plus another one :rolleyes:
But i'm doing an extra one morning and night, which will earn me about £50 for the week (it's also good exercise, as i'll ride about 6 miles everday on my BMX so it's good work for my legs lol) :p
