Even though the mods are buttheads alot of the time, they're put in their positions of authority because they're trustworthy. Without jumping into this mess I can say that I have personally ordered from the person in question and was satisfied with the results.
He can be slow to respond but the product I received was first rate.
I would suggest resolving the conflict with the vendor rather than flaming them here.
