I like all kinds of music, but whenever I tell people that my favourite singer of all time is Phil Collins people usually snigger and take the piss so I have learnt to keep it a bit quiet, well no more cos Im using this thread to lay bare my guilty secret!!!! Does anyone else have any artists or songs they like to keep under their hats?? Nows your chance to come clean!!
p.s Elton John is a close second favourite!!!

I like some of the Backstreet boys songs. In particular some of their ballads move me close to tears.

"I Saw The Sign" by Ace of Base. It's totally out of line with everything else I listen to, but dammit it has a good beat.

Three Dog Night
dude i love never been to spain
and homeward bound
heard em both on the oldies station at work today
had to stop and take a marijuana break while listnin to them both
My own recordings. There, I admitted it.
I like to do a little composition and recording, and you'd think that after I'd agonized over every note in every track, I'd be sick of it by then. But I'm not. The final mix is in the can, I'm sure it's finished, and still I listen to it over and over, telling myself I'm still deciding on an equalizer setting or maybe I should pan left here or there. But it's really self indulgence; a child saying "I did that!". Or I could rationalize that I'm evaluating to it as a listener, and not as the so called artist. (bullshit)
I just like them.
Listening to year old tracks as I write this.....

Alright my guilty pleasures
Jet, ZZ-top, Hatebreed, DMB, Motorhead, Scorpians, Bon Jovi, ... the list could go on forever.
It's all pretty lousy stuff that for one reason or another I dig. Well... maybe the scorpians are solid, but I catch flak for that. Oh well...

oops sorry MS420....I have had some bad experiences with Mississippi....its a fun state name to type when your high though...mississippi, mississippi....lol
Sorry did not mean to run down your home state. The cops are really mean in Mississippi. I would be terrified to smoke weed there.
Hey I met Willie Nelson a few times when I lived in Kerrville. He is really funny and down to earth. He has great Bluegrass festivals.
