what happens during flowering?

i was wondering what happens during the flowering stage?????i know it flowers and shows sex, but what happens after that????it starts forming buds RIGHT???? :confused: thank you. :)

Yes, it will start growing buds. At first you will tons of little white pistils. Throughout the flowering stage, these white hairs will eventually form into buds.

I hope that answers your question. I was scrolling down just now and I must have seen at least 6 different thread sasking about 12/12. Here:

You won't determine sex into 12/12 for at least 2 weeks or so, have patience. If it is a female plant, you will see little white hairs emerging mostly from the very top of the plant, and in between the internodes. Where you see white hairs, is where a budsite will be and where a bud will grow. If it is a male plant, you will see seed pod shaped, in bunches, balls pretty much. Those are actually pollen in those pods, contain no thc. It can take anywhere from 45-65days for indica dom. strains, sativa domn. strains however take longer. About 65-110days. hey chowder...I agree, there are so many posts...I remember when I started I just read the replies in the 5 posts instead of posting, read the faqs and replies and actually pretty much learned the basics...oh yeah, good answer, right on the money
