Looks good sheist! Right on man.

The only thing I suggest is coating your walls white instead of foil. The foil absorbs more light than white. Not a big deal, but for best results, i'd do that. But if you want to stick with the foil use the dull side, not the shiney side.

Lets see some stuff growing in there man! When do you plant on getting it all set up and going? Peace.

Aug 22nd the setup will be started..

Can I use spray paint to coat the walls? If so, can I gloss it as well?

Well Mylar's the best for reflection, but if ya can't get any of that then white paint's about 2nd best. Think it's supposed 2 be matt paint ya use, so if ya can get that in a spray can then that should be cool.

Not too bad size wise, but not huge. U gonna veg em 4 a short time then force flowering? (cos height not great)

yeah sweet, i'll look into the mylar and the matt paint..

most likely i'll veg them for a short time and force flower, yea.. i'll be cloning alot to get more n more... which would probably mean i'd have to make a second bin for the 12/12.. in that case I got 2 timers.. the bin should hold a substantial amount at a time.. i'll have to see what happens when i encounter it..

flat white paint not gloss white. Gloss white can make hot spots.

Good call.

Yes, you can use spraypaint. Just make sure it is a thick enough coat of white on there, that's all. No dire emergency or nothing

I was wondering how long from sprout to harvest does it take with plants that small?? and what is a possible yeild on small plants?

i'd say maybe 8-10 weeks... not sure of the yield tho.. i plan on doing alot of cloning, so that i can balance out the am't of yield compared to a better developed, instead of an early flower like i'm doin..

YOu have underestimated the soil depth.

Also, the lights will be hanging down eating more space.

You need to LST this grow.

I got everything I need...I will build this weekend :)

yeah I would say it needs to be taller than 18".

i have used a large rubbermaid container stood up on end with good results before. homemade hydro system. i think it was around 30" high, big enough for 2 plants + lights. kept it simple for a quick tear-down if necessary.

Or what you could do sheist, if height is a problem. Just turn that container on one of its short sides instead of having it lay on the bottom. That way you can gain a bit more height, but you will lose some width. I don't know:confused:, just a suggestion.

i thought of stackin, but it'd be more of an inconvenience... i need some lowrider seeds..

as for sideways, i could probably get away with that... but i'll have to purchase another bin... i'm pretty sure the skunk will infest the room with odor within seconds of exposure.. so construct a new bin... i would want the move to be quick and painless...

which is better tho, height or width?

height for sure...what i did for a bin was made one out of plywood. works perfectly...then height and that is all up to you...just a suggestion. The rubbermaids work good too.

but yea, height is more important then width for sure. and unless you have a pretty big rubbermaid, id advise doing LST or ScrOG... with scrog youd get a better yield too.
