Just found out my mom smokes weed still, I could smell it sometimes when I came home. I found her stash she left in a desk mistakenly. I have found roaches sometimes filling her car with gas. Should I say anyhting I thinks its awesome she smokes.

I seen my mom toke on a joint when I was 10 one time, and I loved it. Then when I got old enough to start she had quit too,and until this day she still will not smoke with me!Oh well.

Yeah but that would be stupid because he could argue and say you do it, THen you could just be pissed at her and then yeah. and anytime my parents said i was grounded for a long time, they awlays give in. And if she smokes weed, she is gonna be more laid back.

Damn! people need to start standing up for themselves, be a man (or woman depending on your gender) because reading about people saying they had to take piss tests for parents, fuck that, say "no thank you" and if that's not easy to do, then... i don't know, but don't give in so easily.
I've never been grounded, i think because my parents know i wouldn't stay in, because someone saying "you're grounded" isn't physically going to keep me in my house.. stand up for yourselves people, and say "NO"

Just respect her privacy, and maybe she'll respect yours. If she wants to tell you, she will. If she wants to smoke with you she will.


Just be aware that the parent has a higher responsibility than to be your smoking buddy. It may sound cool on paper, but you knowing that she smokes might be the last thing that she wants.

While I definitely agree with this....she knows she has a teenager in the house, why doesn't she hide her toking habit better if she wants to keep it a secret? I'm not saying Towelie should run up to his mom and yell, "Wanna get high?!!" or anything, but, hell yeah, I'd say something to her.

Don't admit that you smoke, though, until you see how she reacts to you.

The difference between adults and teenagers are that adults pay bills. How do you think she pays bills so you can eat and have warm place to sleep. You can't compare yourself to your mom and say that if she does it it's ok. I personally didn't like pot until now. I couldn't concentrate when I smoked so I never liked it. Now I need it because my kids drive me crazzzzzzy. Having said that, she needs to be more responsible and keep drugs out of the your way. Kids brain are still changing while mine is just getting old and sad to say I'll will not grow any more new cells. Good Luck!!!

It kinda depends on how old you are but if you arent like 14 or 15 she might not mind so bad. I didnt smoke w/ my mom until i was like 25. I have known she smokes all my life (she didnt know that though). I mean if she smokes she cant get mad at you for it now can she? Good luck!!
