Head Shop Question

alright i have three questions
1. can anyone tell me if a smoke shop is the same thing as a head shop? Because there is a smokeshop in Fall River MAss and i dont feel like going to it if it doesnt sell bongs

2. can american head shops sell bongs (or water pipes as they are called in shops)?

3. Can bongs and pipes be sold to people under 18 years old?

yea up here in maine theres a couple of stores (not sure if there head shops or smoke shops or whatever) and they sell bongs but i cant enter cuz u needa be 18

well my head shop is called lazy js smoke shop II so im not sure if its a legal issue they need to called it a smoke shop for "tobacco" pipes or what. and some shops are strict about the age and some arent usually if you use the rite terms ( saying waterpipe instead of bong) and also not refer anything to weed or they will kick ylooking as a worker and they will probably hook you up if or wait outside for someone to get you one.

dude in the everte mall... they have a smoke shop... they sell bongs and shit i walked in there and bought a pack of cigs (im only 15) its ran by asians or sumthin... umm not asians but osams ppls( im sort of scraed to go it there thu)

dude, do you live in fall river, i live right near there, its actually like a 3 minute drive for me... theres a smokeshop right out of fall river, its called E-Z smoke, or something like that, thats where i got my grinder.

umm, its in tiverton, its like a convenience store, with a wooden indian in front, but the back is a small smoke shop, some cigars, a few pipes, a few grinders, and like 2 or 3 bongs

yo night prowler i'm from Maine too! Ya theres deff a difference between head shops and smoke shops. In my mind smoke shops are the places that people who actually buy the shit for tobacco go to, and its not so hippie like. Head shops say its for tobacco but we all know what its for, and they usually have other crazy "hippie" drug shit you can buy like T-shirts, incense, bumper stickers, all sorts of stuff...

i walked into my local hightimes when i first started smoking pot when i was 12 asked if i could buy the green bong in the display case, they said yep and rapped it up for me and said run some warm water through everything and it will be ready to go. but then again i live in canada

We got two really nice head shops by my. One is a head shop/porn store, and the other one is a head shop/music store. I love it.

I got my bowl at a head shop/porn store called hockeys but right after I bought it I found bigger ones for less at the gas station right down the street!! Sucky!! They sell everything at this gas station now, I've seen bowl, bongs and even hookas.
