i think i have found wild weed

i have found plants in vermont that i think are wild and have no owners because there are rumors about wild weed growing in vermont they look like pot but i cant tell because they dont smell like pot even when i put my nose up to them and i dont know how to harvest pot at all. can some one please help me with this

I have bunch of ditch weed around my area's.Some people wait for this ditch weed to produce bud and they sell to get money.Well there riping them off because when they smoke it they get awful headake.Is the leaves like sticky kinda.Cuz When you described it sounded like ditch weed.It has hardly any smell.But im a newb but sounds like ditch weed.

there a many good growers on this site.... but without a picture or a more detailed description I don't think anyone will be able to give you a straight answer. Check online for pics of cannabis grown outdoors.... see if anything looks familiar. Since it is just the start summer, it should be in its vegetative phase, so look for pics of cannabis in the vegetative stage. Hope I was of some help. Good luck man
