Hey guys, just had a question about combining weed with coffee. About 3 weeks ago I started drinking coffee, on a daily basis (2 cups before work). I've been drinking coffee for years, but just not on a daily basis. I don't smoke very often, maybe a few times in a month, but 2 weeks ago I smoked around 2 grams during a session. The next day I suffered from stomach cramps and mild diarrhea. This lasted for about 4-5 days and then I was fine. I know coffee can be a catalyst for diarrhea, but am wondering if the addition of weed is what caused the issue, since I've never had problems with coffee before this. The only reason I'm thinking it may be coffee is because the same thing happened again just this past weekend. Anybody experience anything similiar to this? Any thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is as good as anyone else's. It was probably the creamer that you might be putting in your coffee, that's if you use that stuff. If I smoke weed and drink coffee, that never happens to me, I usually drink my coffee streight black... no sugar and creamer or milk. I'm kind of needing some caffine anyways, so that might be a good idea, hahahahaha.

Have you tried "Perfect Coffee" yet? (medicinal coffee made in California). It is a-ma-zing! It never made me sick. It tastes great and has the best effect: The combination is PERFECT!

I drink 1-2 pots of coffee a day, and smoke quite a bit of pot a day. Never had any problems. Might be purely that you have a sensitivity to caffeine, since you didn't have that much before.

if you eat alot, because of the effect of marijuana thats what might upset your stomach too.

It could just be because you smoked 2 grams in one session, and considering the fact that you said you don't smoke a lot could mean that you just weren't used to that much smoking at once...? Maybe you smoked too fast or something...

If that's not the case, then it's hard to tell. Maybe it's just bad coffee.

I drink coffee all the time - quite often either while, or shortly after smoking, and I have never had any problem with it at all. And this is over the course of about 25 years.....
Instead I would like at other issues, like how long was it sitting around, old milk/cream (If you use it - I take my coffee Black and sweet), behaps something compleately differant even...All I can say is it never happened to me.

THC and Caffiene are both stimulants, so when taken together they will amplify each other's effects. However this combination would not cause the symptoms you described. It sounds like you had mild food poisoning or something along those lines.

Like you, I occassionally have the same problem. I had found if I had a light dinner the night before, and skip breakfast but still have my coffee. I will also be having several "sit-ins" for the next several days.

Given you have a digestive discomfort, a inhalant wouldn't alter your stomach/bowels.
