If you have a spare 30 minutes or so, and are interested in taking part in some realistic reaserch on cannabis use, go to http://www.thecannabisexperience.info
Why would you bother?
Well, it doesn't take long and is completely anonymous, but the best reason is because you want some real answers. Like, why does cannabis affect different people in different ways? Or, how much can you use before it affects your daily life?
What makes this research different from what others have done before?
Well, for a start, a realistic take on cannabis use - I know that using 3 times a week is not heavy use, and that using every day doesn't automatically mean that you're addicted. I know that how often you use isn't the same as the amount you use, and that having a cone is different to smoking a joint.
And, importantly, I genuinely want to get some answers. I don't have an agenda to push. Well, other than that people should be able to make informed decisions about their substance use. To do that you need to have reliable and unbiased info available, and I don't think that the research out there provides that - which is why I'm doing this study.
Anyway, check out the site (www.thecannabisexperience.info), see what you think, tell your friends - the more people who do it, the more reliable the results will be.
Cheers
