I just bought a half ounce, but I'm concerned at the quantity, just seems kind of small to me. I was wondering if anybody can post a picture of a half ounce, or if not possible then a full oz or quarter. I can't find any good pics on the web. mainly because they're all so close up I have no way of telling how big the amount is, so a pic like in somebody's hand or something would be great.

Well if it's not the correct wieght are you gonna get your money back, my guess is no.
Secondally get scales if you are going to be getting fairly chunky bags of grass. Use the search function their was a few pics of 1/2 oz a few days ago in this forum. Just another point all weed has different desities, i've sold poeple 3.5g 1/8 bags of really compact weed and they think they're being bumped until I wiegh it out infront of them.

well I can't find the digital camera or the program :( .
EDIT: ok I found the pic of a half ounce, and I don't know cause mine is about 58-60% the size of the stuff in that pic. can it be that much smaller and still be an ounce due to density?

Hmm this is a stoned idea so bare with me...
Get a stick and balance on something pointy so just the middle is on the point and it can tilt, then find something that you know wieghs half an O -food items - then hang your bag on the other end of the stick, don't know if it'l actually work...

I have a nice Ohaus triple-beam balance, accurate to 0.1 g. Send it to me, I'll weigh it :D

The ones in shops are around twenty bucks up to 80, but ebays the best place to go, I got mines their for 12 and the guy ran out of the ones I wanted so he sent a better model and a free lighter :) I was most happy.

dude size wont tell you if its a half ounce
either its 14 grams, or it aint
15 with the baggie
some weed is lighter than others and half o would fill a baggie
some would take a few solid dense nuggets of heavier weed
postal scales are cheep.small easy to use fairly accurate,
and at auto stores ask for
carborator float scales,same dam thing
they set ya back about $6
but you will know what your bag wieghs as u buy it

half a sandwich baggie is usually about half an ounce of average density weed

If you got really big ass buds try breaking it up a bit and then checking it out. I've gotta bags with like one bud in it that didn't look like anything, and then I broke it up and it was way fatter than I expected.
