Going to work stoned

Does anybody here go to work stoned? I have to tell you that I used to work in a corporate environment for a huge company and go in stoned many mornings. It was actually pretty good - made me more productive in some ways and made everything seem a litte more interesting :)

I have to work with old people all day and I tried going in stoned once and the way the old people act makes me just crack up uncontrolably so needless to say I cant go to work stoned.

I wont even take my tools out of the truck in the morning until i smoke some weed let alone do any actual work... but id say about 60 percent of the other carpenters i know are the same way .. weed is is the fuel of the residential construction industry with out it there would be some big time delay's in getting the houses built ..

I was all screwed up on mushrooms a couple weeks ago...luckily it was a Friday and I only had to avoid my boss for a couple hours...nothing quite like that first wave of 'ooooooo!' as I get to the top of the stairs facing into the conference room, and realizing I'm grinning like an idiot and drooling slightly

oh, and last night I had a talk with the company president, he just wanted to let me know that it'd be a shame if I got fired because my manager caught me smoking weed in the server room...apparently he likes me and the work that I do, and so just laughed it off when HE caught me smoking weed in the server room.

I work for Her magestys revenue and customs. I ve worked there 1 weeks on my first day I turned up pissed and on monday I turned up stoned. I makes time go a bit faster

I have a couple of times, but I get really paranoid that everybody knows, then I think Im acting weird because I'm paranoid...it's a vicious cycle I don't wish to relive for a very very long time.

I was scared too intially, but if you're a long time and experienced smoker, you know better than to act retarded among your coworkers. I think most of us who go to work stoned do a pretty good job of hiding it.

Ive been smoking for a long long time. My friends and hubs say they can never tell when Im high, but I still get paranoid even though there's no reason to be. Like, I'll overanalyze a look a coworker gives me, or get confused by someone's tone and start wondering if they know and if they are looking down on me or something. I just haven't found being high at work very fun. I much prefer to smoke among other smokers or alone.

I've been to Uni stoned a few times, but only in courses where I don't have to take notes. I wouldn't suggest going to work or school stoned, though! It would have been too easy for me to have laughed my ass off and gotten kicked out of class. Something like that can fuck up your grade, man - big time!

I work in an office too, and I always go in sober in the morning, but every now and then I like a little joint during lunch... Clears my mind, makes me ready for the rest of the day :)

Lol. I never generally smoke outside my house. Now that's something that really gets me paranoid. So I used to catch my buzz before I left for work. It's funny b/c this company was SOOO anti-drugs. I had to fill out a survey about my drug use (I of course lied) and had to take a piss test too (I passed). So I found it kind of hilarious that I went in stoned out of my mind so many mornings.

Sure I go to work on all kinds of drugs, puked in front of my manager once.
Its just a grocery store though, nothing mentally intensive has to be done...except trying to figure out peoples change.

i work at a call center, and it's hard for me to go to work high. Because i get longwinded. i start telling them shit about the membership, that they dont need to know about the membership. that i am trying to get them to keep, and i ended up losing a sell. not that i am any good at the job, i am horriable actually. I am just worse when i am high. i only go to work high on saturdays because NOBody calls. everyone keeps asking me why i dont change my schedule and not have to work so early. normally i go in at 1:00pm but on saturdays i have to be there at 9:00am. but hell i would not give up a day where i can go into work read for pretty much three hours straight, request a long lunch, leave from lunch at like 11:00 come back at 1:30-2. Get High during lunch, then come back and play games on the internet until five and get paid for it. I Wouldn't Trade My Saturday For Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

I don't like jobs where you have to fuck with random people all day. I've had office jobs where I couldn't go to work unless I was HIGH, and I've had waiter jobs that I didn't like to be high. I think if I lived in Oregon or some place like there, I would be high all day cause there's a lot more people that smoke and are tolerant towards U being high. I hate it when your talking to someone, and you just know they hate pot, and you know they're thinkin "fuckin no good stoner", I would just rather not be in a 50 mile proximaty of those A-holes. :eek:

Shit dude, I work at a grocery store as a cashier and I absolutly cannot handle that shit stoned.

You definately can't be too stoned, I try to sneak a bowl in before I go in or on break.
I generally turn my brain off when im at work anyways, no one really knows the difference.
Bagging stoned is much easier, though I tend to put something off the the side and forget about it.
Usually I have to do carts once a week too, so I sneak a few bowls in the parking lot when I can.

Yeah bagging in definatly fun when your high, so is facing shelves (don't know if you have to do that, where you pull all of the shit forward to make the shelves look nice). It's just the dealing with people things that bothers me.
