trazadone+24oz corona=???

ok so is anyone here ever been prescribed trazadone or taken it? i've been prescribed it before, but i don't remember what it does....i'm not taking this to get fucked up persay, i'm taking it for a repreive from my fucked up nightmares and the thoughts that haunt me at night. so please tell me this is going to put me in a damn near coma-like sleep....

well i know what it is, and i've been prescribed twice as much as i took, but i can't remember it because it was about a year ago, so i was asking if it was more of those just worn out kinda effects or if it was the kind that knock you on your ass....i'm starting to feel it, but it'll take probably about 30 mins (based on my system in the past with pretty much every pill) before it will actually give it's fulll effects

trazadone is used for insomnia and it is an antidepressant. By itself it usually just makes you drowsy. alcohol will probably just make you even more drowsy. It's probably not good for you to drink with it. Amybe you should try it without the alcohol, and see if it helps. If not, try and get something else form the doctor. I know that alcohol will not really help you fix what is causing your nightmares. For a while I was drinking every night to keep them away and when I stopped it was worse. Sometimes I woke up screaming knowing that I was having nightmares and just couldn't remember them cuz I was drunk. anyway...I guess that's all my advice

ok well i appreciate your input and thank you for it, but....i'm not prescribed them now, i just got them from a friend because of what's been going on, and i'm not trying to get drunk or anything....alcohol and pills have just been pretty much to gether with me for along time, for the fact that alcohol does increase the effects and i have an unusually high tollerance to pretty much all pills....but i've yet to get a full nights sleep for nearly the last 2 months because of all this ..i'm hoping if they hit me hard enough i can just pass out and sleep one full night

dont take more than the prescribed dose //it will knock you out pretty good. i was prescribed it the first time i detoxed off methadone but only took it once because i didnt like the way i felt the next day ...it was kinda like swiming in glue almost .. really unplaesent but if you need to sleep it will put you out ..just dont take to many if i remeber right 1 or 2 to many can cause your breathing to stop and alcohol prob is a no-no with this medication hope it helps you out with the nite mares though good luck
