Im tryin to get a pipe, but im too cheap to buy one. I was thinking of using pvc, but im sure thats a bad idea. Can i use metal pipes? (please tell me if any of this is toxic, im told aluminum is bad for you.)

best way to make a temporary pipe is an apple, if you have a pencil/pen and an apple you have a pipe ^.^

pipes really arnt that expensive......im getting a new color changing glass pipe for around 15-20$ but then again that probably is alot cheaper than what they go for in headhops ....

nah i just bought a nice 4 inch color changer with thick thick thick glass for 15 bucks, they go all the way down to 5 bucks a piece (tiny as fuck glass one hitters) at the headshop i go to, it all depends on the area, areas where marijuana is a huge thing - pipes are more expensive cuz the demand is high, in places like Arizona where weed is highly illegal and scarce pipes are cheap cuz its hard to find anything to smoke out of em =-\

But he is right, pipes are fairly cheap, hell ill buy you a brand new simple metal pipe for 10 bucks, decent glass piece goes for about 15-20

Apple Steamroller:

Using an apple corer, core an apple. Then core it half way through perpendicular to the first hole going through the apple, so you have the full tube with the half tube intersecting it. Make a tinfoil bowl over the half tube, and use one end of the full tube as a shotty and the other end as the mouthpiece.

find a metal pen... open it up like you would to make a spitt wod....get a 2 litter pop (soda) bottel with a lighter and your hollow pen, poke a hole about 1/4 or 1/3 third up from the bottom...fill it with water just to the end of the pen.....poke a hole near the top................and wallow you have a mini bong

i dunno about that apple steam roller thingy.
this is how i make them

- remove stem and jam your pen/pencil straight down until your about an inch away from busting through the bottom
- take out the pen, find a good place for your mouth to go
- stab the pen from that point to a point that interesects the previous hole
- put your bud in the top, light it up and enjoy
- throw apple at a car on the freeway going a minimum of 90 mph :D:D:D

dude i bought well i didnt buy it but i had my friend buy me a cheap metal pipe that coasted like 10 bucks. but another firend gave me a pipe as a gift and she said it coasted like 50 bucks i think then i have seen basic glass pipes go from any were around 5 to 100 USD. but that glass pipe i had that coatsed 50 bucks got stolen then it got stolen from the person that had it and i was smoking with them and i told them that it was mine and tried to say that it was theres so i was like wat ever and took all 200 dollars wort of my weed and went home and rolled a coco blunt.

i have made some kick ass small pipes using various materals...basically if you can find something metal to use as a bowl...and can get some sort of screen...get some duct tape and the possibilities are endless...you can use pens, the plastic things that glue sticks come in haha...i know that sounds really ghetto but im serious you can make some high quality shit...just use your imigination.

I had to use tinnies basically every day for three years when I couldn't nick some papers from my dad, and I hated the possible danger from the fumes and the inability to collect rezi when in desperate need, so I had a friend buy me a little color changing onie for 5$. It was all I had for about six months before I got a bubbler and I'm still quite attached to it. They're very convienent for not getting caught. Anyways if you want a good, lasting pipe that gets you quite stoned I would definately reccomend a thick blown-glass bubbler. I am an experienced smoker and they still seem to get me more stoned than anything else, except perhaps a hookah.

Man... my bubbler has a special place in my heart, but my current tool of choice is a home made bong made out of a Crate and Barrel Bud Vase (oh, the irony) and the bowl off of my bubbler. It's a cool, tall bowl in colorchanging glass, and holds about 1/4g. Perfect for a one or two man toke, and the whole mechanism is one of the best-hitting pieces I've ever used.

if you live in the us or canada you can go to a novelty store like san diego or san fransisco and buy a cheap chamber for 15 bucks and a cheap bowl for about 10 at a head shop or novelty store and voila you have a cheap bong that you can have large sessions out of or just a personal bolw and its probably hits better than any homemade peice

Pipes are pretty cheap. Hell one day we were in a bind because our friend was out of town with our pipe so we just got one of those grandpa tobacco pipes for 5 bucks at the gas station and it worked just fine.
