Bag seed Myth.?.

I notice alot on Not just this site but other related forums also.
that "BAG SEED" is looked down upon to a certain extent...
and It's starting to get up my nose.
I'll try and explain why the Best I can.

When You use a Mother Plant you'r Garenteed that the clones That are from it are Exactly the same as Mum right.?.

well if you Clone off that clone then I find the strain Becomes weeker.
Not as a Plant But in smoking.

BUT..
If a Plant is aloud to regenerate Naturally(be influenced By a Male). then What I have Found is That The strain Becomes Stronger and stronger
everytime round.year after year.

so The Chances are If the weed you Got the seed from was 1/2 Decent then the "bag seed" will be Just as good If not Better than the Bud you got it from.

as long as the seeds werent hermies. you can grow under optimal conditions for the plants and when you harvest you can cure them right and then they will prolly be better than the bag you got the seeds from.

I would have to agree with you both on this one, I am only on my second grow but both have gone really well and the first grow was from some ok bag seed. But the bud that I grew and cured correctly is like 3 times better than the original bag of green. I am 5 weeks into flowering my second grow and I used bag seed from some really good stuff, it just happened to have seeds. I sampled a bud earlier this week and man, it is also going to be really good stuff.

all my bud has been bag seed and most of it including my pic up nowwas from hermie
So tell me why not hermie,only cause i want to hear your reasoning
By bag seed i mean that it came from respectable growers. damn i am stoned cant think righ now.

as far as the the clones go with weaker high,is doubt full,a clone is exactly that a clone......it's the same genetics all around....nothing changes,but smokeing the same clones or the same strain may go weaker simply because all strains loose their edge after repeated use by the smoker,changes strains then go back to the same one after awhile and it will feel bran new again lol..

I meant to say if you Clone Off a clone Keep repeating the Process yeald after yeald.
Not using a Mother so to speak.
It does Loose Potency wereas a true Generation actually Gains In potency.

i have always had good luck with bagseed. the bud it comes from is usually some $20-30 a 1/4 weed, but the bud i get from it i sell for $80-100 a 1/4. this year i am gorwing some white strains along with my usuall bagseeds, and i have noticed that the bagseeds are much more viggorous than the whites. maybe they are too inbred, or maybe it's because their indoor strains and i am growing them outdoors, but i hope the quality of the buds makes up for the puney growth so far. the only time i grew other "real" strains was back when i could grow indoors and i had some NL from a friend who went to holland and it too grew pretty spindly during the veg phase, but blew up with super potent buds later.

I have had the same experiances with Hibred seeds in the out door.

what I have found is they stay alot shorter And are Usually finished a month or so earlier than my out door strains.
although The Bud they Produce Is Beautiful theres Just Not as Much Of it..

I'm growing some romulan outside and I've never seen another strain grow this fast.It's grown from clone too 4 foot x4 foot plant in 1 month.Holy crap!!!!

Bagseed weed is just as good when grown outdoors. That is with out any males to bless them with his love. I have donne bag seeds as well as bought seeds. as far as outdoor goes i have just as much success with bagseeds. But i make sure there are no males..... I hate seeds in my weed.

:o I think that alot of experienced growers tend to want the better genetics, for instance say a grow cost you $100 nutes, you grow from bagseed and get all males...it could happen...now you have diddly...but from good genetics(I realize that you can get males even thru high dollar seed, but you are usually looking for that MOTHER) or clone or mother you know that what you grow is going to be worth it!
Clones are clones are clones...same genetics...mothers...same genetics...
most people report that if handled properly a re-veg mother will produce ever increasing better bud....that's why IMHO people put down bagseed, also alot of these growers are using medical marijuana to cope with their pain.
Now I agree that you can grow better than the bag it came from with your seeds,
but will it make your face numb like Blueberry, for instance?....just having fun...peace...latewood

I always save a male and Use the Paint brush Trick.

The 2 somango's I have growing came from seeds that I got out of some somango bud that I got from the phamacy.
I just found 1 snowcap seed in my bud... I was very happy...hope it's a female.

Now I have some purple romulan(couch lock).I hope there's a seed in there...wooooh.
I usually only find 1-4 seeds in an 1/8.Which is fine with me because I only smoke bud from the pharmacy and they barly wiegh anything and if you bought them on there own they would have cost way more
