i have some leaves that are yellow just on the very tip? what is this caused by and how can i fix it?

Yellow means a lot of things. The most common is over watering. Not posting information about your setup, dirt, soil type ect. It's just a guess. The yellow is no longer able to produce chlorophyll and you can clip off the yellow part. It serves no purpose for the plant any longer.
