Here are some updated pics of my first grow. I started 12/12 about 17 days ago but they showed sex about 10 days ago. If you look at my last post i had four plants but only one of them were male. Its not doing near as good as it could because im using fluorescent lighting only but thats all i could afford and i can only grow this summer. let me know of any suggestions

lookin great man... expect em not to grow much more than they are now.. you've probably already noticed a slowing already
great.. i'd say you should be at about 3/4 - a full ounce on each plant.. depending on the size of course...and how long you flower them and such.. i could see an ounce per plant
either way, look great!

Look good, maybe just some white polysheet to aid the flouros.

agree'd you're losing alot of light .. put something to reflect the light back..
also, if you cover the one side to reflect the light back, you could put a fan on the one end..and the air would travel through the cinder block and give a nice breeze and exchange of air... this will be needed if you have the plant in an inclosed space, it will also control the temperature.

you need air flow bad, look into some CFL.They work much better IMO,yes some type of of white sides or mylar would help fatten up the middle

The room that the plants are in is vacant so i have the ac on at all times and the ceiling fan circulating the air. The closet door is never closed. Also yesterday i just put a little fan blowing on them from ab 5 feet away. Here are some updated pics for anyone interested. Right when these plants started showing sex i accidentally dropped a light on one of the top colas of one of the plants. it knocked it off but now i can see 3 new colas forming in that same space if you'll look at pic 3. I thought that was really weird bc ive never seen ne thing like that but it seems like a good thing...

Looks like you accidently 'topped' the plant. Someone up there likes you. Nice plants as well, keep up updated.

Get your flooring covered in white paper.
With the lights you have, you are losing half of it into the carpet.
Why mylar off the walls but not the floor?
Add some 100W regualr light bulbs to aid in the red spectrum you need for the flowers.
Add as many as you can to help the flower.
Place these bulbs near the tops of the flowers and keep the heat off them. This will help.

Thanks for the advice hardon... i didnt know it was important to put a reflective surface on the floor. Ill do that but does it help out that much? Im also gonna get some lights like you said but i dont have ne fixtures to put them in so what do you recommend?
I also wanted to ask when you think these plants will reach full potential so that they can be harvested bc i have an august 21 deadline.
Also i was looking at ur cunt and whore update. I read that you dont like to top bc u feel that it decreases potency yet u have multiple colas on both plants. Do you bend them or what?
Thanks again
peace

Hard On doesnt top his indoor plants. I dont have multiple kolas either.
Whore was tied down to get those four buds like they are.
Cunt was never tied, topped or bent. ITs just a huge fricking kola.
And I dont top only because it slows growth and takes the plant longer to veg and recover and to get the same yield, I could just grow another plant and save the time.
Indoor grows need light...all over the place...as much as you could possibly get....
Using floro tupbes makes it all the more important. Light can be redirected,...recycled in a way. It will bounce and reflect so why waste it?
Light is eaten by darkness...Light is lost in carpets, brown wood flooring, regular wood grow boxes, soil, etccc........
Make everything you can see in a grow room as white or refelctive as it possibly can.
As for your light fixtures you dont need any. Home Depot sells for $2.00 the screw in receptacles that you can just hand from the wires.
White to white, black to black with the wires.
Plug in and hang them.
Better do it now.
Most likely, yes, the 9 weeks flower window you have should be sufficient.
Get those lights NOW!
Grow some BUDS. :)

by the way, those tops are looking a little green for an indica,i remember something about mirical grow potting soil in your first thread?you MAY need to add some nitrogen but now that you've moved onto 12/12 it's not a big deal, but you should invest in some bone meal/blood meal for good strong buds, and just curious but are they bag seed?

oh,and forgot to mention this but it's for later grows not this one,you really should do organic grows, make it taste much better and who the hell wants to smoke ferts eh?but alas the organic growing is dieing out, being taken over by comercial grows pumping their plants full of fert to get the highest yeild possable, but they dont realize the consumer wants good clean clear smoke, but then they make money either way...but in my opinion(and in most growers, well the ones that have used it anyway)organic growing is much better in the end,and also, when kind of yeild are you expecting? 2-3 ounces each?

It looks like the plants on the end only have side light on one side. You may want to add side light to those too.

Thanks for all the advice. im putting some updated pics with the new lights hardon advised that i get. I put them in a couple of days ago and ever since then i am noticing some major thickening in the buds.
Kronic- im from pc beach further down torwards destin but like 30 miles away. Where u locataed? And to answer some of ur questions- yes they are bagseed but from some very good bud that for some reason had like 5 seeds in a half ounce bag. I germinated all 5 successfully. One is outside (i will include a pic.. i havent shown it yet), one went male and the rest are right here.
Also, when i got the potting soil, i was trying to get something that would make the grow easiest since it was pretty much my first real try. But yeah ill probly go w/ ur advice on my next grow.
Oh and im thinking pessimistically about the yield... im guessing not even an ounce per plant since i will probly have to do 10/14 the last week to hurry up production.
Anyway, here are some updated pics, thanks for all the comments/suggestions, keep em comin

Here is my outdoor baby. She's not nearly as far along flowering as the others so she definately wont be ready in time. (aug 21)
KronicKing- if you want her man i might just be willing to give her up so that she can finish growing (u could hook me up w/ some of the final product)
There is a problem with her though... ive notice little tiny spots on some of the leaves and they are drooping, making me think that those microscopic bugs are sucking the enzymes out of the plant.
ANyway here are the pics

i'm more in lynn haven, but we should hang out sometime,i've been here over a year and your the first person within three hours on the boards,i noticed on some morning glorys i was growing some leaves had the same problem you described,i watched them closely and found the culprit was these little mites, alot like spider mites,it took a large magnifying glass to notice them, just be sure when you examine the outdoors plant to wash your hands and anything that came into contact with the plant, don't wan't those things on your indoor ladies!i found that fireplace ash sprinkled on the plant(not grill ash,it will damage,or kill the plant)but aslong as it is pure wood ash(no lighter fluid, things of that sort)it helped a ton with my morning glorys,i'd like to have her too i was thinking about a small closet grow myself and she would be great for clones, and i'd be more than happy to give you all the yeild you want, after all you did put a lot of time and care into her ;),by the way just curious, but why the august 21st deadline?school? but give me an e-mail
[email protected] and we'll talk some more
Glad they turned out to be so beautiful :D
Hope you don't lose ID numero dos! ;)

hah... digs, thanks by the way man. Here they are like 40 or so days into flowering. Everything seems to be coming along nice except for one thing.
One plant Has pod like things growing on it that look as if they could be seeds. They have red hairs coming out and are juicy when squished. If anyone could tell me what this is i would appreciate it. My guess is that one of the plants has gone hermie but i really have no clue.
Digs, come and try man
peace
