little smoke?

I just got finished with the first Don Juan book, and I was wondering if anyone knows what he supposedly put in his "little smoke" to make psilocybin mushrooms smokeable? Also, what exact species they were (probably mexicana, it being Mexico, but who knows) since he says that, ceremonially, it has to be one specific type. Just curious about it.

Also, has anyone tried Datura using the paste-rub technique that he teaches? You'd think that would be an easy way to control your dose.

Everyone i have ever talked to said smoking psilocybin mushrooms is usless beacuse the cemical gets destroyed with heat...i dunno tho.

if you wanna try datura....just go buy some scopolomine for motion sickness, then you can controll your dose easily...im pretty sure you can by the other alkaloids in datura too, i just cant think of what they are right now...im too blazed haha.

oh, ok, i just looked this up, and it has the same alkaloids as the belladonna, scopolamine as dude said above, also hyoscamine, and atropine...risky business if you ask me...but i did go to a health food/supplement store called Garner's Natural Foods or something like that...i know it was garners...anyways i saw the little pillules there with belladonna extracts...it would be easy to control your dosage that way...i'd like to know how that goes if you try it because the pillules are cheap as hell....

i did see on an emergency room thing on tv where some old hippies had made jimson weed tea and they were fuckin delirious...couldn't even tell the doctor what they had taken, they were freakin out...it was rather funny if you ask me

now, i DO know that if you take the extracts, you will experience MASSIVELY DISGUSTING dry mouth...not cotton mouth like pot will do to you, but DESERT MOUTH...my man's mama had some old antispasmodic elixir called Donnatal...which contained phenobarbital plus all the belladonna extracts, i took it for the barbie effects, but ended up with desert mouth for the whole night...very unpleasant, insatiable, it's impossible to get rid of it...and i just kept feeling like i was gonna trip and didn't...maybe the barbies counteracted that, or either i didn't take enough, but hell, i chugged a good bit of that shit

Anyway, are you sure he's smoking psilocybin mushrooms? Because like the above guy said, I was pretty sure psilocybin was destroyed by the kind of heat that would be necessary to smoke it.

Amanita Muscaria on the other hand is very smokable, and the high from smoking them is very nice and calm, though nothing psychadellic. Of course, Amanita's were the most fucked up experience I've ever had. -vomits on himself just thinking about it- Man, getting lost in my own head.. then getting lost in my friends head. Then taking over my friends body and making him share his weed with people. HA, man, tripped out hilarity.

Hey encatuse, was it you that was doin a bunch of 5-meo-amt? Whats that like? I've recently been trying to find an rc that is similar to acid, but so far I've only tried 2c-I, and 2c-c. 2c-I and 2c-c together (halo as i've heard that combo called.) was a better trip than 2c-I alone, but there isn't enough mindfuck. Time is only slightly slowed down and my thought processes were relatively normal, yet enhanced. Personally i didn't think the visuals were anywhere near as good as acid, (I might be a bit of a 2c hardhead.) but I'll be trying a larger amount tonight. One thing I liked about the 2c-I+2c-c combo was that it seemed to mellow things out a bit, making the experience less speedy than 2c-I alone, but i still wouldn't say its a replacement for acid, like I said before there just isn't enough mindfuck. How would you compare 5-meo-amt to acid, and how did you measure it out? Do you use a scale?

About any of the tryptamine RCs will give you the mushroom mind melt, some maybe more than you're ready for. I'm not sure if psylocibin can be smoked, but most trypts can (some must be). Really only one way to find out. As for belladonna/jimpson weed/scpolamine, check out the dosage erowid recommends. They just refuse to give one, only drug where that is the case. Maybe they're trying to tell us something, ya think? LSD is destroyed by heat, not sure about 4ho-dmt, guess I could check with a homlog (not tonight) All the PEAs I've tried can be smoked, also, Some lost do to smoke blown out, and possibly do to heat destruction, but definately smokable.

It was I with the 5-meo-amt. I've never done acid, but I had a blast on AMT. I dosed rather stupidly. I would just lick my finger and dip it in, then shove it under my tongue. For some reason I never vomitted nor had dhiarrhea from it. It was a relatively comfortable experience. The visuals were the first thing I noticed, as everything warped in a very flowing way. It wasn't dizzifying/nauseating at all. Everything I looked at was terrifically three dimensional, and complex patterns were so covered in complex fractals that I could stare into their seemingly inifinate detail for the duration of the trip. Also, the mindfuck wasn't terribly intense, but it was there. Definately very very clean feeling.

Also, in my experience with other things I've tripped on, during forced interaction I could convince my mom I was just stoned on pot. On this, my mom called bullshit, telling my I was practically an alien that she could harldy recognize. She thought i was on acid because that was all she had seen her friends do in the old days. She made me dump the remaining of my brain candy. Just because she thought I had no self control with it! What non-sense! ((It wasn't nonsense))

Yeah. I didn't do very well with 5-meo-amt. I didn't measure out my doses ((oh noes, this is always stupid.. especially with the dose being 5mg)) and blah blah blah. But my two day trip into insanity was wonderful. I filled half a journal with bad drawings and bullshit theories, some of which I think hold some truths.

-laughs- I never tried it. I had these little tiny crystals that were sent to me from somewhere I ordered crap from online. It said not to inhale it because it CAN be deadly and stuff. So, I just kinda followed orders since I couldn't find anyone who had smoked it. I lost it when I moved though a while back.
