an ounce of silver on the market is only worth a little over 7$ us. and judgeing from the type of coin it is (U.S assay office... lol) We have plenty of them. Its a very young coin also. (1981)
I would say about 3 bucks at a pawn shop... 10 tops if you hussle a little.
no, it isn't worth anything.

Red King is correct. This is a silver bullion coin, and its value fluctuates with the price of silver. You can get about that much for it, but not much more. If it's in mint condition (which it does not appear to be, from the photos), there may be a higher collector value. Any coin shop can appraise it for you.

how much is this coin worth? thanks.
i use to work for a meth cook out in cali several yrs back and he would pay me in silver just like that [ he invested all his profits in rare coins and land ] any way unless it is a rare issue coin it is probably only worth what ever the current price for an OZ of silver i would go to a coin shop instaed of a pawn shop they will be much more fair and honest about the value good luck
i wasn't taking in to account the value of the metal. totally slipped my mind.

My father used to collect coins and then he gave them too me..But he took them back once. Then he went and sold them and gave me 250 dollars out of it. He had all sorts of coins old ones, and such and he had boxes upon boxes of them..And only got 250 dollars, I mean i'm not being ungrateful or anything but you figured for all them coins, you'd make a ton right?I know some about coins...but I'm not really sure about the prices you can get out of that. My dad took care of all that....
anyway...maybe you should just take it to a shop and see what you can get out of it, if anything maybe a couple of dollars or so..just might help a person out in need huh?
well thats just my 2cents ;)

whose ever heard of paying for parking spaces?!?! What planet are YOU from? Paid parking has been around just about forever, and it's everywhere.

Beeblebrox.420, lock this highjack thread before it starts an unwanted argument. We have enough of that as it is! Thanks.

I don't see any argument brewing, nor is there any reason to lock this thread. If I locked every thread that got a little off-topic, I'd be locking threads all day.
