Well im going to the gym in the few, but anyways i was wondering how many of you stoners go to the gym, what gym, and how often. I go to 24 hour fitness. Its a cool place, gonna be a lot better once we get out of this tempoary space and move into the place they are building....ANYWAYS do the poll and answer the Q's! woot-woot! :D

why go to the gym when you can do the exercises at home? everyday, i wake up, do my pushups and situps and do them again before i go to bed. i've kept up with this schedule for a while now. once every other day i hit the barbells.

THE JUICER WOMAN!
oh yeah, there huge steroid muscles and manly features. I'll take a slice of that pie ;)
but seriously, i workout 4x a week i guess because for football we have to go the gym. I also condition for a hour 4x a week, and i'm gonna be starting to run every day soon.

I rarely workout because i work for a landscaping company that pretty much keeps me fit. I golf and snowboard alot and those sports keep your arms and legs strong.

Same here, Penguin. There is absolutely NO motivation for me to workout at home....I always seem to find "better" things to do. When I go to the gym, everyone is working out, so it's alot easier. Now, GETTING my butt to the gym has been a different story lately, but I do feel better when I go!

Exactly, you know what i mean. And i feel you on that, im always like shit i need to go, maybe later im too tired/stoned. Thats why i even had to vote once in awhile on the poll.

i dont understand. if you can find that motivation to go to the gym and exercise then you can definitely find the motivation to do it in your house. plus, you can arrange a better schedule at home, opposed to having to schedule around business hours or apartment regulations.

I dont have time to go to the gym...but i dance everyday.
dancing is a great method of exercising. your keeping your cardio pumping and constantly burning calories. i'd dance if i didn't have two left feet...

Little different. Because once im in the car im in the car and going to be there. The motavation i need to do a workout at home. i will start doing it but then i will be like why do this when i could be doing something else that id rather be doing? So then i will go do something else. So if i go to the gym after making the decsion to get in the car and go then im not just gonna turn around until ive went to the gym and done it. but after i start working out at home i can just stop. <<<maybe that will help you understand better^^^^

I walk to & from work, over half an hour each way. I try & play tennis at least once a week & play footie on a sunday (that's the proper english football, wot most peeps on this site call soccer). If ya lead an active life (like I think I do) then don't really need to go gym. I got some weights at home just in case weather's really bad or haven't been sporty.
Going a bit off the point, do any of ya out there get immense strength after they have a toke? I do quite often, not always cos sometimes just wanna lay there
Fuck the gym. If I want to run (which I don't) I'll run around the park, for FREE.

I drag my ass out of bed at 5:00am four times a week to hit the gym(24hr fitness) before work. I never used to need to but after I hit 30 my metabolism slowed waaaaay down, combined with 8hrs working at a desk, so I work out to keep the extra pounds off. Plus its good for my high blood pressure. So for me it's not about getting big muscles and a hot body, its about staying healthy.
I'd work out at home if I could but I don't have room for weights and a bench or the cardio equipment. I'd love to run but my feet are fucked up and after 1/2 mile I get shin splints so bad its all I can do to hobble my sorry butt home. So, the gyms really my only option now.

Walkin's the only exercise I need.
2 summers ago me and some friends used to do "burn & burn" a few times a week... bong hits followed by a trip to the school gym. Only took us about a week and a half to realize that going to the gym high sucked ass though.

I don't go to the gym, I work out at home three times a week. I do strength training 3x a week, Pilates 3x a week (2 beginner workouts and 1 advanced).
If I had to worry about going out to a gym, I would never get up the desire to go (especially with how hot it has been lately, in 90+ degree weather, it's even a chore worrying about going out and getting food...) :D
