Great deal on a bong! is it worth it?

so tonight i was tokin with one of my buddys who i hadnt seen in about a week and he pulls out the nice glass on glass bong with a nice bowl with marbles on it :D

I asked him where he got it and he said at san diego (its like this cheap novelty items store) for $12!!! :eek: when i hit it you could tell it was cheap because the glass was a little thin but other than that it was great it hit pretty fat 2

so what im wondering is do u think i should buy the 12$ bong or should i go get a bong from a real paraphanelia(sp?) store like high times or organics for quite a bit more money?

lol i want somethin that gets me stoned and has some eye appeal but its mostly for heavier sessions, my bucket bong cant take the heat from a non stop sesh, the metal bowl gets to hot melts through the plastic and falls into the bottom of the bucket :mad:

cheap glass will break quick, you get what you pay for in bongs (life-wise) i'd say save money to get a better made one, but if you get money easily you could always buy this one to last you until you can get money together to get a new one.

i could spend the money on an expensive peice but most of the people i toke with wouldnt be able to relax and toke cause they would be to scared they were gunna drop it and have to pay for it, but my buddy with the $12 bong just throws it around in his backpack cause he doesnt really care if it breaks it breaks and its taken quite a few knocks i forgot to mention that its on sale like 50% off on all bongs so its not normally so cheap
