This is really a good article....this guy tells it like it is! Its Great.
For once, Bush or Rove or somebody in this administration
may get an uppercut that keeps them down on the mat, or at
least for an eight-count.

I'd be highly surprised if Karl Rove gets anything more than a slap on the wrist for this. By only saying Plame "apparently works" at the CIA, he provided himself with all the cover he'll need. Smart move on his part because he can claim he was only making a guess rather than "knowingly" divulging sensitive information (which is treason), as his lawyer has already denied.
It's still a dispicable, Bush-league move typical of this administration though - ask John McCain. One that really should land his ass in jail.
And why the hell isn't Bob Novak in jail?

That guy isnt screwed...like they'd have us think. Just now on Msn.com i read about how the white house is sol silent.
Think people. Why is it that Bush is dead set against firing anyone in his admin? I think that it's because of the potential whistleblowing. If carl gets fired and bush does nothing to stop it then he's gonna have a whole lot to tell. Watch, in the next couple days/weeks we're going to hear about how former bush admin member rove died in a tragic accident with no witnesses to speak of.
Right now, he's probably negotiating a deal to keep silent and he'll take his fall nice and quiet. he'll be demonised in the media but in return he'll have a nice ranch and seven/eight figures to retire on...it's all a sham

it probably doesn't even have to go that far...i think rove is pretty well protected.
after another 'terrorist' incident here in this country that's blamed on evil muslims or some domestic gang or group to tie in crime and terrorism (which the patriot act already does, section 802, all crime is terrorism with a parallel unconstitutional legal system)...people won't care about anything else.
we need troops in the malls and on the streets searching us to be safe, shutup and accept martial law, it's because we love you. we don't want to have to forcibly innoculate you (model state emergency health powers act, various executive orders, the patriot act...) but we love you. just go to the camp or stadium and get your shot.

Rove is prolly already protecting someone else in the bush admin. that told him about it. (He wont blow the whistle on bush.) I think the worst thing that could happen to him is that he'll have to resign, (They will prolly find someone else to take most of the blame.) the only way I see him blowing the whistle on bush (Or anyone else from the bush admin.) is if he's facing jail time. IMO He should be in prison, but from what i've heard, its only the person that told him about her that would go to prison unless Rove had clearance to know about her, (The CIA agent.) in which case, rove would be the one to go to prison for leaking her name. (But only if he had the security clearance to know her identity, in other words, the only person facing criminal charges is the one that had clearance to know her identity and told someone that didn't have clearance.) Look for some low ranking turd having to take the fall.

Edgar

i believe truly the fanatics are controlled by someone operating for the gov. so in actuality both fronts think theyre killing the bad guy when the higher ups just sit on their fucking asses and laugh at us.
why do you think CIA sponsored osama CANT be found? i think he gets his orders on who to declare jihad on...he goes and rallies his supporters and then they go out and bomb motherfuckers. then theoretically terrorists WERE behind the event. the us just cajoles them...funds them...provides weaponry...small insignificant things like that.

the cia agents husband publicly said his wife was a covert agent 2 years ago.not to mention that rove released the reporters to spill the beans at the end of 2004.
Rove's own lawyer has stated that Rove talked to Time reporter Matt Cooper "three or four days" before Plame's identity was revealed by Novak. (Two years ago) In an email written by Cooper 3 days before Novak leaked her identity in his column, he wrote that Rove told him that Joseph Wilson's wife was working for the CIA on wmd issues.
Where did you get that her husband was the leak? If he said that she worked for the CIA, it was after that knowledge had already been leaked to the public by Novak.
not to mention that NO law has been broken.NO cia agent was "outted".the cia agent WAS NOT covert,NO ONES career was ruined.

Ha, you'd like that to be the end of it, but it sure as hell isn't. She was under nonofficial cover, if she wasn't, there wouldn't be an investigation. She had claimed to work for Brewster Jennings & Associates as an "energy analyst", but this was later confirmed by the CIA to be a front.
It is illegal to knowingly release the identity of a undercover CIA operative, to do so violates the Intelligence Identities Protection Act. If Plame's identity was classified, Rove may also have violated the Espionage Act.

No Hamster you get your facts straight....Karl Rove has a history of lying and cheating. He has been a bully all his life and it does not suprise me that YOU would support him....
In high school, Rove was known for being argumentative with teachers and students, for using "vulgar and suggestive language" with female peers, and was accused of stealing money from other students' lockers on more than one occasion. Often ran for school office; his pattern was to quietly slander his opponents with allegations of sexual deviancy, and then deny that he had done so. Interestingly, at some point a report on Rove was purportedly generated by a school district psychiatrist
By 1970, Rove was a protégé of Donald Segretti, a Republican operative working for Nixon who was later convicted and sent to prison
in 1970, Rove took boxes of campaign letterhead and envelopes from the Chicago headquarters of Alan Dixon (democrat) forged invitations of "free beer, free food, girls and a good time for nothing" at Dixon's headquarters, and then distributed them throughout Chicago's red-light district and to local soup kitchens.....He has always had to CHEAT to win....it is all he knows.
while attending the University of Utah. he forged newspaper articles reporting the criminal arrests for sexual deviancy of various campus liberals. with racist classmate Lee Atwater....
HE dropped out of the University of Utah. Later attended both the University of Texas at Austin and George Mason University, but has never received an undergraduate academic degree from any colleges attended...the number 2 man for Bush has NO college degree what so ever....yet he avoided going to vietnam becuase he was in college?!
In 1973, he ran for the national chairmanship of the College Republican National Committee (CRNC). His campaign was marked by the usual slander and smear of opponents. In a new twist, Rove ultimately challenged the legitimacy of each and every delegate who voted for his opponent.
The election eventually was decided in Rove's favor by the head of the Republican National Committee, who was then....George H. W. Bush (Bush Sr)
August 10, 1973, the Washington Post publishes an article, based on tape recordings, detailing how Rove and another operative had been going around the country training new GOP operatives in dirty tricks.
In 1977, Rove was sent to Texas, purportedly to run a PAC. However, it is thought that the real reason he was there was to take care of Bush Jr., who at that time was a serious binge drinker, often in and out of social and legal trouble..
In 1986, John Weaver, a former colleague of Rove's and at that time the executive director of the Texas state Republican party, went into the political consulting business for himself; in the process he took one of Rove's own top employees away with him. Rove spread a rumor that Weaver had made a pass at a young man at a Republican party event
In 1986, Rove ran Republican oilman Bill Clements' campaign for governor of Texas. On the night of a debate in which his candidate was expected to do poorly, Rove publicly announced that he had "discovered" that his own office was bugged, allegedly by the opponent's campaign, all evidence points to Rove panting the bug himself.
Rove was eventually fired for this behavior by Bush SR. staff
1993-1994, Bush Jr. runs for Governor of Texas. Rove manages the campaign, and months prior to the election repeatedly floats the rumor that the incumbent, Ann Richards, is a lesbian. Bush Jr. wins.
In 1994, at the behest of the Business Council of Alabama, Rove worked to get Republican judges elected to the Alabama state supreme court by running a dirty campaign, complete with a fictionalized TV ads, his judges lost but Rove then disputed the results, moved for a recount, continued to spread lies about election fraud by the Democrats during the months of wrangling over the recount, lawsuits ensued, and by October of the following year the case was decided in the Republican's favor by the US Supreme Court.
Also in Alabama in 1994, Rove ran the first judicial campaign of Republican Harold See, who ran against Democrat Mark Kennedy. Rove floated charges that Kennedy had used a nonprofit children's foundation he was involved with to mask campaign finance improprieties, and started a whisper campaign that Kennedy was a pedophile....MORE LIES Kennedy still won....people saw Roves lies for what they were...LIES
In 1996, Rove had flyers printed up that looked as if they had been put together by the Democratic incumbent's campaign, flyers that viciously attacked his own Republican candidate for the Alabama Supreme Court, Harold See. Then Rove had his campaign workers deliver these flyers throughout key neighborhoods in the middle of the night. The Democratic incumbent, Kenneth Ingram, was unable to counter the sympathetic backlash, and lost.
In the run-up to the 2000 presidential election....and on into 2001(!), Rove manages Bush Jr.'s ultimately successful campaign for POTUS. When McCain looked to be ahead during the Republican primaries in 2000, Rove allegedly hired a telemarketer to call voters across South Carolina, asking them whether they would vote for John McCain if they knew he had had an illegitimate child with a black woman.
It is Rove who sends a busload of Republican operatives from Washington DC to storm the barricades in Florida, staging the "angry mob of disenfranchised voters" at government offices during the 2000 Florida count/recount fiasco.
AGAIN fake protesters starting trouble....
March, 2001, Rove was instrumental in arranging a merger between an Intel company supplier and another Dutch company; he himself owned $100,000 in Intel company stock at the same time.
In June, 2001, Rove met with drug industry lobbyists; he himself owned $250,000 in drug industry stock at the time.
On June 30, 2001, Rove divested his stock in 23 companies, stock which included more than $100,000 in each of the following: Enron, Boeing, General Electric, and Pfizer. It is estimated that Rove held between $100,000 and $250,000 in Enron stock at the time Bush was sworn into office, and continued to hold that stock while participating in energy policy meetings.
Just another Enron crook.
In August, 2002, Karl Rove was included as a member of the newly organized "White House Iraq Group selling of the invasion of Iraq to the media
After the reelection of Bush Jr. in November, 2004, Rove is named Deputy White House Chief of Staff and is now responsible for coordinating policy between the White House Domestic Policy Council, the National Economic Council, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council.
And all without any expertise in any of the above fields.
HE is guilty and now it looks as if Bush is scared....he needs a lawyer
Witnesses told a federal grand jury President George W. Bush knew about, and took no action to stop, the release of a covert CIA operative's name to a journalist in an attempt to discredit her husband, a critic of administration policy in Iraq.
Their damning testimony has prompted Bush to contact an outside lawyer for legal advice because evidence increasingly points to his involvement
