I heard caffine kills your buzz is this true?

Does newports make you even higher and also if you heat up the filter with your lighter will this stop the fiber glass from causing harm?

Just sum things i've been wondering about since i am a big coke head and newports dont get me higher... :confused: Thankz!!! :D

I don't find caffeine kills my buzz. It alters it somewhat by making me a little more alert and edgy, but the high is still definitely there.

if you're not a regular smoker a newport will give ya a nice ass buzz. i know people who only smoke after a 420 session.

like ermitonto said i think the caffiene just picks you up a little bit but dosnt outright kill a buzz as far as the cigg's go i dont think it enhance's your high but i always want a cigg after smoking weed kinda like after sex or food

I drink caffine all the time while high, doesn't kill it. I think its actually nice, cos if you take it early enough in the high, even with kinda shitty weed you don't get as burnt out at the end. Plus the weed smooths everything out so weed + caffine = can stay up forever... Though after a while... you loose the desire to haha.

Also nicotine def enhances my high, but I save it for special sessions, for my nightly smoke, I just stick to weed.

Yeah, I often do a wake-and-bake with a big ol' 24 oz cup of coffee. If anything, I notice an slight intensifying of the experience. I don't like getting super-wired (which is why I can't stand meth, coke and most other stimulants), but a nice caffeine buzz is a great way to start the day.

Besides, without it, I'm a bear. :D

As far as I can tell, there never has been. The fibers used in filters is a cellulose acetate material. There is some question about the safety of this material, however, as disussed in this article (http://tc.bmjjournals.com/cgi/content/full/11/suppl_1/i51).

If so a cigarette couldnt possibly make you higher it might give you a headspin if you arent normally a tobacco smoker.When i started smoking it was kinda a high feeling only because of dizzyness that soon went away when i became a regular smoker i hated the dizzy feeling i dont know why i stuck with smoking.

fuck newports, especially. if you dont smoke cigarettes, dont even start. i heard something about the glycerin in cigarettes absorbs the thc in your blood, thus, making you higher...not sure if it's true. i'm addicted like a mother fucker so i smoke even when i dont have weed.

For you younger stoners,

It is important that you do not get sucked into to myths, hype and other miscelleaneous bullshit surrounding drugs. i.e. caffeine killing your buzz, orange juice in your bong getting you higher, fiberglass in the filters of cigarettes, smoking out of tin cans giving you alzheimers etc. etc. Most of it is BS or it is a distorted version of the truth.

For instance, caffeine doesn't kill your buzz but it can make you more prone to anxiety, meaning if you smoke a ton of weed and drink lots of coffee, you may send your heart rate up and feel really anxious which can "kill" your buzz. Frankly, some weed and coffee does me just fine, in fact it feels pretty good, because it can add to your buzz, giving you a little energy boost while your high. Just don't overdo it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to patronize but DON'T believe what other people tell you necessarily because they probably heard it from another stoner who heard it from another stoner who heard it from another stoner who made it up when he was high.

Point is there is alot of misinformation but there is alot of real information, like on this site for instance that will help you separate the myths from reality.

You obviously have the internet, so you can use it to do some research. I know that sounds like homework but what could be better than homework about WEED! Well, no homework obviously and just weed maybe.

yes im sure it will not decrease your high by drinking a cup of joe or a soda now if you took a half a box of nodoz it might kinda slow it down a lil bit but it will not kill
