I can't afford alot of expensive indoor equipment at this point in time, but for the most part i just don't have anywhere inside i could grow properly at even if i DID have everything....so i've resorted to the next best thing. the great outdoors.
my question is....it will probably be in Georgia. i'm within about an hour of the ocean...not exactly beach climate but not far off. it's pretty humid here and temperatures are usually in the 90s. the ground is like a sandy type of soil but i'm thinking that could actually help...this will be my first grow so my knowledge hasn't expanded any yet through trial and error but i'm pretty sure i remember reading that sand in the soil helps for some reason.
anyway, i'm on here because i want to know anything i can about if this is a good idea or not. cover won't be an issue because everything around for miles is forested or swampy. green everywhere. but i was wondering if the climate itself suits it. i don't know anything really about what good growing conditions would be and if georgia suits them or even if by planting now i might be too late to harvest before the season ends. if there are any georgia growers on here that have any input or even just growers with experience in similar conditions....please reply: anything would help tons.
