hi, heres some new pics. ive got 1 question, if you look at the sex pics, there both from the same plant. i take it this has hermied on me? looks like female and male, or is it to early to tell on the male looking 1? hope you like the pics. the growth still ok for the time gone? thanks

looks nice arthur. the 2nd pic does look like a male preflower, but i don't see any on the bud pics. look very carefully at the buds for male flowers, they tend to blend in with the buds until it's too late and have released the pollen. i have had crops seeded by hermies before and it's so hard to tell until it's to late. well, good luck, and i hope it's a girl for you.

thanks for the reply dylan. so is that plant definately a hermie? cus if it is im gnna have to kill it, i only have 1 room and i dont want to take the risk with those beutiful buds. i havnt shown a pic from the hermied plant, its buds anyway, there still very small. how long do u think before those male parts mature enuff to spread pollen? cud i give the plant another 2 days to see if i do get pistils? if not ill kill it tnite. i aint had no luck with those jack herer, i had 8 and only have 3 left now. and the 3 left, seem male :( ones a trifoliate. thanks for the help

I dont see any signs of male genetailia anywhere.

Male balls grow in clusters not just by themsleves.

If you see more balls in clusters, then you know for sure.

Keep looking as the male balls will grow on top of the initial ones and there you will see the clusters.

realy? its pic 2 im worried about. the plant in question has all female parts up top and about 6 inches down, and then it moves to about 5 of those ball type things, just the ball and a green spur sticking out, they are alone. shud i just leave it and see how they develop then? thanks for the reply harddon

i would wait it out before you cull it. it will usually take a few weeks before it releases it's pollen. if you can i would seperate it for a while to be shure.

Your worried about pic2? Pic2 is going naturally just early flowering. If your going to herme's your plant then keep em together, but if you want bud out of your female, move your male across the room or into a different room. I would put it in a different room just to be safe. If thats what you were planning on doing then yes, keep them together.

i only have the 1 room, well 2 ut the other doesnt have a gd enuff light. so this is just early female pre flowers? that little ball? i sure hope it is. anyway, the plant in question is stunted, so its only gunna harvest a smoke anyway. peace

Pic 2 does show a pod....but the stem is hiding the full pod picture.

Again....

Males grow in clusters. It is unlikely that is a ball. It could indeed be a flower pod.

Just keep an eye on it and see if others develop around or on top of it.

Also, if you can, take a pic showing the entire pod, without the stem hiding the other half.

i was trying to catch the light on it. but yeah ill take another pic tnite. altho, the pic already shows it, it doesnt realy cut anything off. thanks for the help tho, and gd news. ill keep a close eye out.

Hmm Im curious arthur to what light do you use? And what kind of seeds did you buy and grow?

ive bought all my seeds from nirvana, which are jack herer, snow white, white rhino, k2, and northern light x big bud. i use a canatronics 220 watt bright wing for veg and a 400 watt hps for flower. i wudda took more pics but there isnt much change apart from mayb the pod getting a little bigger. i looked low on my big k2 plant and that also has these balls realy low down. all on there own. sumin else ive noticed on that plant. about 3 hairs have started to turn red, on day 23. is this normal so early? or is it bcus my humidity is rising to 80% atm, need a dehumidifier, which ill buy this wkend. thanks once again for the help

Uhh is this balls really low down all in a cluster? Because if it is, you got your self a male on your hands I think.

na its just 1 ball on its own, but these plants have em literally on all of the stems if not all. on the k2, they look exactly the same. ill take some more pics tomoro if theres any change. is it ok about the hairs? thanks joel

ive just read somewhere that nirvana seeds are dodgy and cheap. seeing as this was my first grow i aint to bothered. but for my next attempt id like some better seeds, any suggestions where to buy from, id pay upto £100 for ten no more. thanks again

The hairs occur naturally. They will go from white,red,brown, etc the cycle as harddon said earlier that i read today lol.

yeah i read that too but i wasnt sure about it being a white strain wether they stay white thruout, noob you see. oh well, i wont have to ask that again, thanks joel

The white are the pistols..Its all natural, nothing to worry about man :D. If your plant starts to change and your not sure, just post it, either me or someone else will give you a legitmate answer. Np again.
