Bush violates support for medicinal use

As a person who voted for Washington stateâ??s medical marijuana law, I would like to ask that federal authorities give full respect to all local and state laws, ordinances and resolutions that seek to protect patients who use marijuana medicinally as well as caregivers and others who help provide safe access to patients.

In 1999 George W. Bush visited Seattle on a campaign stop and said: â??I believe each state can choose that decision as they so choose.â?�

Why then is the Bush administration seeking to destroy Californiaâ??s medical marijuana supply ?

...Just think of how much money those huge pharmaceutical companies (who always contribute lots of money to the RNC) would lose if everyone was allowed to self-medicate themselves with something they could grow in their backyards instead of having to pay $100/month for prescriptions.

I say that its better to self medicate, instead of taking poisons that you pay $100 a month for. These pharmasutical companies tell you that their pills will heal you, but they'll never tell you that you might either die, or have health complacations that lead to death. I'm not saying that the good herb is completely safe for all, but if you get that medicine from your back yard, at least you know what you're getting.
