i recently purchased a 65watt compact flourescent from home depot i was wondering how much heat these produce because i grow in a farely small space about 3 1/2 feet high and 4feet wide any first hand info on these flourex lights would be helpful i'd rather not try the trial and error process

i bought two of these and they've worked great so far. as long as you keep a fan on the plants you should be able to keep the light just a few inches away

all you gotta do is buy the electric wire at home depot. tell them what kind of light it's for they'll give you the right wire. then buy the plug, attach it to the wire. there should be a white and black wire coming out of the fixture, just hitch them to the wire you buy. it doesn't mattter which goes to which because niether of the wires are a ground. after you connect the wire make sure you cover any open wire with electric tape. another tip for the fluorex buy s hooks for the corners then regular wall hooks and some chain and your ready to rock
