Their is not enough light reaching the leaves on the bottom. You can use floro's on the ground pointing up to hit the lower leaves.

Yellowing lower leaves is a sign of several possible problems. Light is just one of them but the most common. First thing to do if you have a problem is to FLUSH with 3 times the volume in water or just a good commercial flusher.

Wow guys

Do you think about natural elimination of old leaves? The plant eliminates old leaves to give more nutrients to the newer ones. Thats it. No light problems or fertilizer overdoze or lack of nutrients. ITs just normal. Everyone have that thig going on anytime.

Don't panic, its not bugs or anything like that either.

Peace

No the plant is too young and anyway leaf structure is not like that. They serve the mother plant not the individual leaf.

Yellowing leaves on 3 week young plant.

Without a pic, its pure guessing for us.

With that soil you have, there should be no reason to be giving the plants any nutes at this stage.

Pics please, pics!

clay pots wont cause nute lock...at least as far as i know.

the problem is though that they dry out 3X as fast, get hotter than needed be, and, they absorb too much water before the roots get to use it all.

LOL...

The "salts that you see" are more likely NOT salts from your water or pots. Rather, it is a chemical reaction between the clay and the potassium in your water.

Artificially colored clay pots are the biggest creators of this syndrome.

How this might cause nute lock up I do not know.

HAVE FUN SHOPPING :)
