Expert Grower input wanted

Ok im planning on growing for the 1st time. Im building a grow box about 4feet high,4feet wide,2feet deep. so my questions are 1. Which is a good lamp to use?
2. which plant can i grow in the box? i dont want them to grow over 3feet any higher i think the lamp would burn them.

I wouldnt grow more than 3 plants in the box. Use 2- 250 watt MH/HPS or floro's for veg and HPS for flower. Grow and strain that i at least 75% indica or more. Be sure to top the plants at the third set of leaves. [email protected]

You better do a SOG grow.

Add the height of the lights and the exhaust, add the flowering size soil container you will eventually need and see how much room you have left...

About 2 feet????

forget the 2x250 mh&hps.......with the space you have available you need one 400 hps grolux unit start to finish....also, yeah you must do a sea of green if you want to get better results....you need an indica dom strain....if you get pure indica is best for you.....for best results you must grow single cola plants with only few branches....

Save the heat, you do not have enough room to use HID lights unless you buy a cool tube and a vortex blower to keep the heat away.

If it were me I would use 48â?� florescent lights but relocate the ballast outside the grow box, again to save the heat. You could use one of the 125w compact fluorescent lights too. Line the box with Mylar to maximize the light reflection. You will need fresh air in and internal air movement inside the box. What about odor control?
