Best use for dry Poppies???

:) I've got some Poppies a friend gave me and was wondering what the best way to utilize them would be? Haven't had any experience with them before.
Have heard tea may be good, but I'm open to suggestions. :D

They might be poison to eat, you might be abe to decoct the sap out by heating in water for a long time and slowly boiling it down ito a thick tarryl-like goo that will harden into a hard plastic like gum, but be careful not to burn it. I wouldent eat it though. The raw opium itself is not very useful as a narcotic, It is used to extact the morpnine, the purified morphine is then refluxed in acetic anhydride to form acetylated morphine.

You would want to use distilled water as well if you were hypothetically going to extract the crude opium, and filter out the left over plant material after it the water has turned brown and then drive offf remaining water. I would also find out if they are ornamental poppies cause there no morphine in ornamental poppies thats why they are allowed to sell them in United States.

I doubt that poppy seeds sold as spices would germinate because they have been reprocessed. Everything sold in America has been reprocessed, packaged, and sold by corporations that want your business.

A two liter bottle with the rounded part of the top cut off will work to filter. Flip the top over put paper towle in and put onto the cut bottle top to filter.

Delta9 you do enjoy your drawings, and i like visual learning:), a girl i know from school didn't get how a pipe works, so i drew a detailed picture of one on paint, and a lung (plastic bottle with bag, bong:))

good, You can make gravity bong with a 2-liter bottle those things hit pretty hard.

Are you talking about pods or seeds? If it's pods the simple way is just to grind them up fine and make a tea with them, seeds not work fucking with, IMO
