The whole problem with terrorism is that the terrorists are able to target a few very important places/people and if they manage to carry out the attacks then everyone is effectivly terrorized. But If we didn't have this kind of monarchal society and we were all individually governed it would be so much better. For example a great benifit would be Calif. Medical users would not have been arrested because of a federal law even though the state laws say they can use this medicine.

Another benifit would be that our nation would be alot more connected and unified, with regional or even state govt.s the PEOPLE would be making the decisions not somone almost 3000 miles away who has no idea who the fuck you or me are. Now it would take alot of work to prevent corruption and certain states becoming more powerful but as long as there were some base rules (a constitution of some sort) that everyone followed then I think it would work out alot better than our current system.

Sorry but I can't stand our corrupt and evil dictator and wish to see him dethroned and BEHEADED. :D

Things would get unruly in a week or so, constitutions mean fuck all, if there was no government, then there wouldn't be any police, and so there would be chaos (love that word) and so it wouldn't work.
I see what you're getting at, like if we got rid of all but the essential laws (like no murder and shit like that) and got rid of drug laws, and the stuff police do (only have police to stop real criminals, would be good)
If you have a way to make it happen, do it, we will all thank you...

We can't rely on human nature to govern, organize, or police. Since man is inherently evil, chaos would be inevitable . :eek: :eek:

democracy is no more than mob rule.. it is simply put 51 people telling 49 others how to live thier lives that is not freedom it is tyranny but as long as we allow our govt to keep changing the rules the founders of this once great nation set for us to live by because of alledged popular opinion we soon be left with no more than a dictatorship they have eroded the constitution to not much more than suggestion not a unchangable document free speach means FREE SPEACH the right to assmble means THE RIGHT TO ASSEMBLE and the right to keep and bear arms not being infringed upon means NOT INFRINGED UPON i wont even get into the 4th amendment that is just to sad of a subject for me to even discuss and any onr out there that thinks bush is in charge of this country you better wake up he was chossen because he is so easily manipulated and so stupid that he actually believes he is charge

Ya but Rove, Cheney, Condi & co aside, the presidential position still has a lot of power, even if he's got a hand up his ass the whole time. Like his first veto this year, on the stem cell bill finances. He's maybe not as good at it, but he still does his stupid best to destroy social or scientific progression

Y'know it's sad when people can deny evidence that our beloved president is a blubering hypocritical moron even when it's right in front of them?

@ezjim

I didn't know that he did, I thought he intentionally let the ban run out sometime last year

The whole system is full of leeches and scumbags. Like that clip that was on CNN this morning, where a reporter says to Scott McClellen: "You said that Karl Rove was not involved in the leak, and now we have information that says he was the source of the leak, etc," and his reply was "There's a time and a place to discuss this, and now is not the time or the place," or something like that. WHADDAFFUCCKCKCKCKK YOU'RE AT A PRESS HEARING AND ROVE HAS JUST BEEN FINGERED AS THE LEAK. I THINK ITS A PRETTY GOD DAMN APPROPRIATE TIME AND PLACE TO ASK THESE QUESTIONS

God watching the news is like turning over a rock in a damp part of the backyard

There's is not one state that can afford financially to be a self gvd state. Well maybe Cali or NY:eek: but still. My state would'nt have roads if it were'nt for teh federal gvt.

private property is'nt private anymore and free press comes with a pair of handcuffs. who's to blame here rep or dem?

but as long as we allow our govt to keep changing the rules the founders of this once great nation set for us to live by because of alledged popular opinion we soon be left with no more than a dictatorship they have eroded the constitution to not much more than suggestion not a unchangable document
the whole point of the constitution is that it is able change and grow our founders were merely men nothing more......failable...human.......they didnt think they would be right for ever they knew things would have to be able to change in the future......it was in no way ever ment to be an unchangeable document.....and its what men died to protect our liberties and freedoms

i agree that some things over time have to change but putting more limits on gun owner ship / free speech /privacy /seperation of church and state in a nation where you have so many people that have sacrificed thier lives to protect those freedoms it is a insult to those who fought to preserve these rights to try and limit these freedoms if there is going to be change it should be change that allows more freedom not less the patriot act is a prime example of this if you have a minute read it this thing is right out of orwells 1984 i love this country and would gladly give my life to protect it but our govt is out of control when you put people in prison for having a substance abuse problem instead of getting them into a rehab program or lock up a cancer patient for trying to relieve his or her pain with an alternetive medication or give the fbi authority to go in to a home with no warrent and snoop around just for kicks and giggles i think it is safe to say we have strayed very far off the course that was laid out for us in the beginning and i believe that they intended for us to have as little interferance from the govt as possable and lately it seems the feds are doing a lot of interfering in private matters but thanx for reminding me about them being not perfect i just wish a few of those guys were still around now adays we could use some of that logic and common sense

the ideas that empires grow and governments become corrupt and evil will never change. the constitution was a good stab at fixing this problem...but we've let tyranny overtake the country again, and almost the entire constitution is void and has been 'legislated away.
