One night maybe a month ago, there was about 10 of us who stayed round a mates house, while her dad was in france. Anyway smoked and hotboxed her room all through the night, it was GReat fun. Probably my best experiance on cannabis.

The problem is, since then, nearly everytime i stand up, i get a massive headrush, and blackout. My vision comes back after like 10 seconds, and i dont collapse or anything, but i basically go blind. Its getting slowly better, but i wish i cud understand why it happens, its a pretty major thing, i mean if im with my parents and im just standing there blank for 15 seconds, theyll wonder what the fuck is wrong with me, anyone know what the cause of this is? besides smoking too much weed in one night

It most often occurs when the blood pressure is too low (hypotension) and the heart doesn't pump a normal supply of oxygen to the brain.

It may be caused by emotional stress, pain, pooling of blood in the legs due to sudden changes in body position, overheating, dehydration, heavy sweating or exhaustion...

Maybe your BP is too low.....drink something with caffeine and rehydrate yourself with water....you know how dry weed makes a person....if that does not help I would see a doctor....hope you feel better soon...

i don't think that is a result of marijuana use. My first question to you would be, did you ever experience this before the incident, and did you experience it during the incident?

dude, dont tell me youve never gotten a headrush b4, its caused by the lack of blood to your brain, then sudden rush, the faster you stand up after a long period of sitting/standing, the greater the headrush will be, it happens to me all the time, since as long as i can remember, even b4 i started smoking

if you want to cure them, simply, GET UP SLOWER, thats all there is to it

yeah i used to get them, but not this frequently, it was after the night i smoked an excess amount of dope then it happend to me every single time i stood up, and a ridiculous amount, i mean total vision lost from standing up?!

probs not eough sugar or food in your system or sitting down for ages gettin stoned then havenin to move will give u a killa hedrush, happend to me be4 when i was at a dealers hit some bongs and my m8s was like where going now i could harldy stand without leanin onto somthing got outside my visiion was all black and red with the colour draining out of it then i couldnt see had to sit down for a while when i finally did get up i was still well stoned and went on to have a wicked night

i get that when i take elevator tokes (take a hit and stand up realllly fast)
