Ok, well just recently I got blazed. Smoked out of a bong for the first time too. And after the experience I started breaking things down into little pieces(note:I usually do this while high). Anywho, I layed there with my boyfriend consuming the noises around me. And I started thinking about the ideas people have for movies...mainly childrens movies, and a few movies I thought of were 'A Bugs Life' and 'Osmosis Jones'. I just found it cool how people could go in and use their perspective to create a movie. Also, now that I'm writing this, I'm thinking of a lot of other movies, Toy Story, Antz, The Secret Of Nimh etc. It might not seem very cool now, BUT I just found it cool at the time.

You ever seen that movie Lady in the Lake? It's a Philip Marlowe movie filmed from his POV, kind of applies to what you're saying.. kind of.

The Neverending Story...although "Neverending" is a bit misleading.

It's kids movies that are most relevant to Maiden's point.
Think about 'A Bug's Life' and how the ants act and behave like people. They have human-like opinions on "ant matters" like how dangerous the outside world is (some ants want to discover it, others say they shouldn't think about it) and how they hate being ruled over by grasshoppers. The producers could have made an hour and a half of filthy insects scurrying around but the approach taken makes for a pretty interesting perspective. It's dumb and childish to the closed-minded individual but I share maiden's fascination (if you will) on the imagination behind such concepts. The same for Toy Story and Osmosis Jones, I think they're great movies in the way they take simple formulas (ie. if toys were alive) and create them in the way they do. I dunno, I just appreciate stuff like that. :p

I wouldn't call it an alcohol trip, unless you're driving out to get more alcohol

i hate movies lke osmosis jones, antz, and a bugs life, just because of how horribly inacturate they are, i might like them if i could just get over how wrong the facts are

I think the point of those movies is more to entertain than to educate. Sometimes actual facts just aren't any fun.

2 things i seen while trippin stand out. One was the first time i had a true smoke out (u know the ones where its the lungs that run out before the bud) i was sittin in my neighbors house and i started staring at his family photo, and somehow the heads of all the people in the pic like blended together and turned into the chesher cat from alice in wonderland lol that was cool

the other was my first time on acid a big cloud of smoke turned into a monster that tried to eat me rofl

Yeah, Toy Story could have been a kid playing with toys for an hour and a half. Fun.
