when a sprout is first popped up for about a week or 2
they need light to susstain the thin stem
you might want to put the light closer so that do not stretch over
but not too close to the light or it will burn them !

just have to take your time and not worry so much lol :p

Need more info, like what lights are you using? Soil you have?

you need air flow blowing gently across the seedlings. That will thicken the stocks and thicker stocks equal more nutrient uptake. More nutrient uptake equal happier plant. Happier plant equals more buds. More buds equal happier grower.

Ah...The cycle of life.

thanks Pink and Zandor, but i am still confused a wee bit. i have had a fan blowing on them usually whenever i have the light on. my cycle is about 18/6...should it be 24? do i just keep my "straw-stand'n'twisty-tie" set-up until they are strong again? i am using an organic fertilizer of some kind, stuff my dad got for our garden. the corn in the garden grows great, and i have heard if corn can grow good in the soil then so should the weed. should i start giving the plants nutes? btw my light is a "120W Plant Gro'n'Show". i bought it from a former growing friend of mine, and it had seemed to work ok for him.

Do not put it on a 24 cycle please
put it on the 18/6 till they have grown
some more

and then you will switch it over to 12/12

does my light seem efficient enough? i am only lighting a little less than a square foot

I can't see you light setup but you could add a little sand or some more soil and bring the level up to the rim. That would strength them if you think about it. Sand is good to have on the top of soil it keeps light from growing algi on the top of the soil.

i use 2 15w tubes n a fan for seedlings n keep the light a 1/2 inch from the top of the plants for 2 weeks, you dont need alota light for seedling stage just get it close ,n i agree with pink on the light cycle ,ive found my seedlings are happier when they get a few hours of sleep with no light no fan each night,i use 20/4
but everyone has their own ways .good luck

get that light down on them !
